I hope there's more official residential maps. I would also like to see an urban at-risk shelter/halfway house map with lots of non-compliant civilians. I live nearby one and I've seen SWAT go in there before.

I hope they implement a small water(IV bag) charge for clearing windows, so you are not just using super cop strength to force through the window frame.

Modder here. I agree. You and your friends definitely yeet through the windows at the moment. In a perfect world we’d have a halligan tool and glass raking. There’s some pretty big engine limitations at the moment so I had to compromise. For example I really really wanted to and tried to have players be able to deploy gas via launchers through windows and doors the way it’s done in real life. Unfortunately launchers share the same collision channel as bullets and don’t have any penetration baked in so they just don’t work. On top of that I had to do some custom collision and runtime generation to get windows to shatter consistently. So there’s more jank there than I wanted to have but figured the compromise was worth it. Rest assured though if I figure out ways around some and of these things and a way to make the mechanics less jank I’ll add it. 1.0 will very likely break the map anyways. So I wanted to get it out in the wild. Hopefully it adds new things and better ways for us to do things (…like a way to actually set the hostage timer)

I think the hostage being excuted too early comes from the fact the host loads the level first and it plays in the background while the other players loading in, depending on long that takes is how long of the timer you'll lose

Yeah the same thing happened to me on single player albeit a little longer about 15 to 20 seconds so i think your right to a certain extent

Just an idea: Would be nice to have a heli inbound as soon as the raid gets hot. Just to know you do not have to worry about runaways. Not sure how this would be handled IRL, but somehow you have to make sure that nobody can leave the compound right?
