I think they put the Sour Lemon and Cotton Candy doors on the wrong days. Day 13 was a bit of a cop out to be honest, I would be disappointed if that big window only had 2 little flavourless ghosts behind it.

Yeah the one door definitely said sour is greater than sweet, which should be sour lemon and a fairy princess costume would be for cotton candy aka fairy floss. They really threw her for a loop on that one. You’d think they would be a little more careful with a $37 box of candy that’s mostly air, but ya know

It's corn starch on the outside. They roll marshmallows in it to keep them from sticking. I mix a little powdered sugar in mine to make it taste better

I appreciate and respect your opinion always! I have tried XO marshmallow and I love them. My husband and I each get the Christmas Advent from them every year and love it. I have also gotten their marshmallows on their own and love them also! I definitely think some just have a stronger flavor than others! I feel like it's worth trying them again and actually picking which ones you try. Also putting them on hot chocolate would be good! ❤❤ Love watching you!!

I do admit I bought candy corn from a candy shop that made their own candy, and the bottom brownish color part of their candy corn really did taste like butterscotch :) . Love your vids!!

I think the pink one that tasted like pixie sticks (door 2 marshmallow that tasted like cotton candy but with the door description from number three) was possibly supposed to be Glinda the Good Witch from Wizard of Oz. Her costume definitely looks like a pink fairy princess.

And it's definitely Tupperware. lol I think it must be a case of them not realizing that the name is actually Tupperware and not Tubberware. I don't think they were trying to avoid copyright or trademark infringement since they listed "Ziploc" right before it. But I've never ever heard anyone call it Tubberware until today. 🤭

NOT a fan of this advent calendar. $37 for THAT? They probably picked the lightest possible food product they could ship, and still managed to put ridiculously tiny, arguably insulting, portion sizes in. And day 13 was like a final roundhouse finishing move right to the teeth. Putting two itty bitty little portions in that whole door is DEFINITELY insulting. I'M SORRY BUT NO. I wouldn't pay $25 Canadian Dollars for that, let alone $37 American! ($37 USD works out to be about $51 Canadian). 🙅

I’ve been buying marshmallows from XO Marshmallow for years and I love them. Their Holiday Advent Calendar is much better. There are more marshmallows and more of the flavors you’d expect. This was their first Halloween Advent Calendar and I know they themed it as popular Halloween candies so that explains some of the fruity flavors. That sour lemon marshmallow was gross though. I think the outside coating is just powdered sugar and it honestly doesn’t bother me. 🤷‍♀️ But it was fun to watch you unbox/try these! 🧡

So.. funny story.. I ordered a box of “gourmet marshmallows” from Etsy.. I was SO EXCITED to get them. They came, and I realized I do not like “fresh” marshmallows, or really even flavored ones. So I’ll stick with my mallow fluff, and generic jet puffs lol cause they’ve never done me wrong.

The coding is cornstarch They probably do them by weight, so the same weight on denser marshmallows will be smaller in volume that might be why the pumpkin one which is dense was smaller. And it taste like butter scotch but it's got like a funny aftertaste. Be kinda makes you not think of butter scotch I'm not being the same flavor. Technically it's butterscotch but not good butter scotch.

I think they are problems coated in corn starch because of it was powdered sugar it would actually taste pretty good but it would melt into the marshmallow

I think the size varies but you’d probably find they are all the same weight as the ones that look smaller are denser in consistency, it’s a cute calendar but definitely aimed at junior market, wonder if they maybe do an adult “fancier” one

I’d been disappointed too if I paid that much money and it was just meh 🫤 Surely they could have done something extra to make them unique and more flavourful? What a letdown the last one was as well. Tupperware is correct but it’s also a brand name. Sort of like saying you need a Kleenex when you want a tissue. Maybe they wrote “tubberware” to avoid using the brand name 😅

@@mariasabstractart9203 the brand is trademarked and the logo is copyrighted but the word itself is not as far as I can find HOWEVER using the term Tupperware to describe a plastic or similar looking container is a trademark infringement. Using it in this kinda food calendar is very unlikely to be seen as a trademark infringement. I'm also not a lawyer and my actual knowledge of law is limited to environmental law during my PBa in Environmental Science

I actually know the difference (and teach it in Principles of Financial Accounting) between a copyright and a patent. It was easier to say what I did for the people who don't know the difference and just wondered why they didn't use the T word.
