Without scanning the entire tree with a large ultrasound machine some damage cannot be seen. Trees can develop defects that are completely covered up as it grows throughout the years until it causes it to eventually fail without any warning.

Pro tip: You don't have to remove (or tree) the glass to get a subwoofer in the back of that car. Just mount them from below, from inside the trunk. Mount the grills on the topside inside the cabin. If you mount your speakers from the underside of the package tray or what the rest of us call the rear deck, you'll have no issues getting them in.

This kinda reminds me of when I lost my first car. I drove the wheels off the thing put the wheels back on and did it again. She was a pile if I look back without the emotion. But the memories the wrench time the learning my now 4 year old drove it at 2 years old. She loved it my wife learned to drive in it so ya. A few memories over the 10 years I owned it......(its my profile pic) one day I got rear ended by a 2019 4runner doing 40mph. It hit so hard it buckled the floor under the back seat. Crushed the driverside frame rail. The back door was smashed into the quarter panel. But she still managed to drive home........I miss that thing. I've had two others trying to relive the glory. But it's not the same. Now I have a white one that's a 5 speed (original was auto) I like it alot but if someone offered to I'd probably sell this one. Unlike my original which I never planned on selling. But I had nowhere to store her until I could afford to straighten her out and cage it. So she has been crushed

Wonder if there are offroad lift kits for chargers. Too bad would be far too much effort to swap in an AWD system. Make a rally/dune charger.

It’s a rough spot to be in, spoken best by Jack at 18:26. I had a GTO that had literally blood and sweat put in to it, that I did exhaust, long tube headers, tuning, sound system and other stuff I’m probably forgetting about. Plus other stuff like hail damage, blown radiator; growing pains really. I traded that car and a truck in for a 2 for 1 deal to downsize, and later got another GTO with a lot of the same mods done to it and it just wasn’t the same. That’s the beauty of customizing your cars and going through that journey together. I hope you bring her back to life, but totally understand moving on.

There is a kit company (I cant remember the name right off hand), but I think this chassis they have a kit for that will essentially turn it into a Ute, a half car half truck hybrid like you would see in Australia. I think that would be an awesome idea for to do on the channel, it would be the PERFECT candidate. I've seen one done and it looked pretty cool, and it used Caravan tail lights

Here's an idea about how to make the broken glass safe. Just put it in a resin cube. So you make a cube "mold", pour some resin to make a layer, let it dry, put the glass shard on the dried layer, pour resin over it, the two layers will "fuse" together encasing the broken glass and make it safe. Then you only need to polish your transparent resin, and voilà! Instant souvenir! So, Ute it goes! That's gonna be so odd...

Being an LCN fan and lover of a nice lawn... That close up of the grass shows that he NEEDS to sharpen his blade(s)... all ragged edge like that on the grass is bad and will introduce disease and fungus as well as looking browner since the tips will brown out more since it was pretty much cut with a dull spoon instead of a nice clean cut.

been here before. have a 92 wrangler that i was doing a frame restoration on and I parked my mazda protege5 in front of it the night before a storm just in case a tree fell so it would save the frame. sure enough a tree fell on the back end of the mazda but it saved the jeep frame. Totalled my Mazda but sold it to my cousin who did some cheap "repairs" and turned it into a stealth camper. we ended up taking it to florida and sleeping at a gas station for a week in it while visiting a friend before he deployed.

The glass will get everywhere. I had a rear window break on a paseo when I turned the heater on because it was icy. Someone had previously soldered the terminal on. I thought the spoiler had come off till I looked behind me.

In north Florida and much of the southeast USA there’s a type of evergreen oak called the laurel oak that usually dies aged 60 or so. Usually it will shed a few limbs first or at least have many dead branches. Sometimes the roots give out and it will fall over. No idea if that’s what caused your problems. Hardwood and softwood don’t always describe the wood itself. Balsa is technically a hardwood. Southern yellow pines are technically softwood trees but their actual wood is quite hard.
