RIP DEPUTY MINIX! Watch over your family and all you served with. I was blessed to have had an NYPD officer who was a policeman who walked the beat in my Brooklyn, NY neighborhood from 1948 to the mid 1960’s. He joined after returning home from WWII!

So sorry for this tremendous loss to his family, department, and community. I definitely know how this feels. My cousin was a 17 year member of a police department in Michigan. He died in the line of duty January 25th of 2000. Seeing all those police cars lined up brought back memories. This is indeed an honor. My heart goes out to his family, and K9 partners.
