A Tribute to DEATH BATTLE! Season 10 (Super AMV)

I already made the ranking video but I decided I wanted to make this as well. Also I wanted to test the waters with some more ambitious editing in my non-FNF videos, and this seemed like a good place to start.
I really hope I was able to do this season justice.

It doesn't matter who wins or loses what matters is how much we appreciate the characters that we see giving us a reminder of how much we love them and enjoy seeing them at they're full potential all I have to say is thank you Death Battle for the epic fights and thank you Brandon Yates and Therewolf media for the glorious soundtracks

I often times imagine all the Death Battle season winners are celebrating their victories, while the losers are just hanging out somewhere For example Season 3 winners are all attending Deadpool’s Birthday Party. Flash and Tracer are serving drinks. Carolina and Sonya are chatting. Amy, Ratchet, Clank and Terry are at a punching machine. Joker is the party clown. Doomsday is the bouncer. Ganondorf is the magician. Dante is in charge of the music. Mewtwo is cooking with the giant spoon. everyone’s got a slice of cake that Zoro is cutting up and serving out. Deadpool and Pinkie Pie are watching the show having the time of their lives, and at the end they all take a selfie together. Season 2 losers are in a bar somewhere. Tifa is the bartender, but Ivy is there to help her out. Captain America and Deathstroke are having that staring contest that Boomstick talked about while Wolverine, Beast, Lex Luthor and Green Arrow watch from the sidelines. Red and his Charizard are Pokémon battling the other Charizard and Venusaur. White Ranger Tommy is in the Tigerzord petting Gamera. Majin Buu and Dan Hibiki are just hugging each other crying in a corner, but Buu is choking the life out of Dan. Goku and Boba Fett are sitting up at the bar lamenting about the fact that they both lost Death Battle two seasons in a row against the same people. Ryu Hayabusa and Ryu are sparing. Luigi is trembling while holding a punching bag for Knuckles who is just venting his frustration on it. Lion-O, Ragna and Nightmare are just tending to their swords. Darth Vader and M. Bison are just angrily brooding. Terminator and Sektor are just glaring at each other while Mega Man tries to keep them apart. And Bucky O’Hare, Gaara, Sam Fisher and Grim are sitting outside stargazing where they can see the Chuck Norris and Segata Sanshiro constellations. Season 5 winners are at the beach for the 100th episode celebration party. Mario, Spyro and Sparx are kicking back in deck chairs with umbrella drinks and sunglasses, though Sparx is covered in bandages. Leon Kennedy and Kenshiro are acting as the lifeguards. Sora is building a sandcastle with Goofy & Donald Duck. Nightwing, Samurai Jack, Ryu, Black Panther, Raven and Optimus Prime are all playing Vollyball, while Lucy (as Nyu) sits on a mat nearby watching the game with an ice cream in hand, while Roshi stands nearby also watching from round a corner (though he’s only watching two very specific characters at this get together). Ultron is the referee for the Vollyball game. Doctor Fate is laying down in the sunshine reading a book, and using his cape as a hammock. And Darkseid is sitting in another deck chair holding a mirror and getting a suntan. Season 4 losers are on a camp out. Ace, Shovel Knight and Nathan Drake are exploring. Balrog and Bane are just glaring at each other while they arm wrestle, while McGruff keeps an eye on them. Ichigo, Vergil and Silver Samurai are holding marshmallows over the fire with their swords (the fire that ace made). Glacius stands in the water fishing. Renamon is meditating. The Power Rangers Jason, Billy, Trini, Kimberly and Zach have set their Zords up around the perimeter and are sitting around the campfire along with Captain Marvel and Spider-Man 2099. And Metal Sonic and Thor are putting the tents together. Season 6 losers are all standing on a giant Comic Book, floating through outer space. Deadpool is kneeling down next to Ben 10 holding the Continuity Stone which is causing all of this. And all of the characters (Namor, Mega Man, Mega Man X, Mega Man Volnutt, Mega Man Star Force, Widowmaker, Captain Marvel, Wario, Ben 10, Weiss Schnee, Johnny Cage, Edward Elric, Lobo, Green Ranger Tommy, Sasuke, Ganondorf, Mob, Deadpool and All Might) are peering into their different realities, altering their Death Battles in one way or another. Some for peaceful intentions, others not so much. Etc…

Death Battle, in my opinion, has become less of a verses show and more of a celebration of characters and stories. I never would have appreciated characters like Dimitri, the Doctor, Superman, Unicron, Discord, Cole, etc. as much as I do now if it weren’t for their respective episodes. Here’s to another great season.

2:48 - 3:09 Just goes SO hard. I mean, the entire video absolutely slaps with such smooth transitions and fitting cuts between fights, but something about that section there completely mesmerized me. An awesome tribute to an awesome season, indeed! :D

The first time since season 5 I was familiar with every combatant and love the execution of each fight regardless of the end result with each of these. Though I will say what really made this season stand out, is that in some of them, it's clear even though they won, they also kinda lost. Those losers made sure they payed the price, and I absolutely love that.
