A warrior that does all this without asking for anything in return. Always ready to take on the next challenge even though it's bigger than him. Always fighting without fear and showing mercy even to his most fierce enemies. He finds the good side to every bad situation. If he's not a hero, then no one will ever be.

+TheFlash3237 Goku doesn't fight to be a hero. he fights for the sake of fighting. Toriyama even states that goku is not a hero. there's a few examples in the series as well. goku letting gero make the androids instead of letting bulma use the dragonballs to find gero and stop him before he created the androids is a big example because goku wanted a good fight.

Yes, he's not perfect, but he sacrifices himself so others could live for a race that isnt his own and for people he doesnt even know!! Because he appreciates live. After all that said, if you still think he's selfish... I dont know what an unselfish character would be.

great video i love dragon ball z goku is a true hero he is always willing to give others a 2nd chance even when they don deserve it he always fights for the right thing but he is not my model fully mine is gohan (obviously) i felt connected to him cause he is just like his father but has a deep hidden rage that i know that i have so when ever i play a dragon ball z game like dragon ball z raging blast i use teen gohan super sayain 2 because its the one i prefer to use when i use gohan

@AnonymousForNow93 DBZ is no different, Goku starts out as a stronger than human but still extremelly weak hero who eventually becomes one of the greatest fighters in the universe. Nothing will ever make me like another show more than DBZ, It was the first anime I ever saw, I used to wake up in the morning before school and watch it, only to go to scholl and say "Did you see what happened on DBZ today!".
