As a teacher and someone who has taught personal development to those in Ezra's age group, I can say this much: it really puts you in a vulnerable place emotionally. It makes perfect sense Kanan was initially hesitant to train Ezra because it would mean confronting feelings of sadness, grief, fear, uncertainty, and even heartbreak after what he survived in losing his own master. And it is worth the risk. Great feats are worth nothing if you have not unconditionally loved

This is stunning, what a beautiful tribute to Ezra and Kanan. They have such a sincere open relationship not just as master and padawan but surrogate father and son. They needed each other to become the best of themselves. I like how awkward and frustrated Kanan was at the start when he tried to teach Ezra who was overly-excited and rushing into things. Then over time Kanan became wiser and more patient, passing those lessons onto Ezra. Great music you picked for the video. I loved the montage of footage you used while Ezra's voice in the background describes how Kanan was wise and brave and cared about him.

Thank you for your kind words, Rosefire, not just here but on a lot of my other videos too! May the Force be with you.

You're quite welcome. As a viewer, you can tell when a movie-creator puts a lot of effort and detail to make sure that the scenes flow along with the music and it shows here beautifully. Speaking of music in films, would you consider doing another Ezra-centered video using the soundtrack from the first part of the Burning Bush scene in "The Prince of Egypt"? It's one of my favorite scores and summarizes the "Call to Action" in the hero's journey.

I have a lot of ideas I want to put out first, and I usually just work with music that I'm familiar with. As of right now I'm doing a video about Hera. I think it might be a while before I go back and revisit Ezra's story. Thanks for your suggestion anyway, I'll take a look at the soundtrack. There IS a video I made about Ezra around the same time as I'm making this video. It's called Ezra's Memories, about how he remembers Kanan, which basically is just some ideas I prepared for this video but didn't make it.

Excellent tribute to Kanan and Ezra. It reflects beautifully their growths as individuals and as a master and padawan/surrogate father and son. Their final sacrifices were honorable and courageous...and make me cry like a baby.

I'm baby crying at 3 am because I missed these guys. Kanan's gone and I don't know when will I see Ezra again. I want to see a grown up Ezra that carries all the things his Dad Kanan taught him. The "No one's ever really gone" quote gives me hope and assurance that Kanan is with him indeed. Always.
