Why Manirathnam is differrent? here is your answer.. Mouna Ragam - First love (Karthik) dies. Revathi marries Mohan but doesn't live happily with him. Atlast, she is ready for the second love of life. Love wins love. Nayagan - Kamal marries a girl, who comes to him as a prostitute. Not sympathy but pure love. Loves her to the end of the world even after her death. Love wins sex. Agni Natchathiram - Vijayakumar has two wives. Loves them both equally. ​@@chandrasekardhanaraj2532 After watching Vetrimaran Films even I also had the same feeling. Vetrimaaran is different from other directors. Each of his films are unique, different from the previous one in terms of plot, location etc. No one can beat his exceptional way of non-linear story telling and placing hidden details in the movies. He is currently the best director in whole India in my opinion. But Mani Ratnam's films are different, and his style of filmmaking was different from how it was usually done in the late 80's & throughout the 90's in the south. I won't say all his films are great but most of films are fantastic. Some of the credits also goes to ARR for the amazing bgms he composed along with MR.
