Yup. Some actors are great at being loud, rambunctious or colorful etc, while others are far more measured and bring that intensity thru other means. Ray had those ridiculously intense eyes. Mix that with his voice and it just worked in so many of his roles.

Ray’s work beyond Goodfellas was great and overlooked. Him as Henry Hill will be the pinnacle, to James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano, Armand Assante as Gotti, and Marlon Brando as Vito Corleone. But he did so much. Copland with Stallone facing corruption, The Iceman as Roy DeMeo with Michael Shannon, Field of Dreams as Shoeless Joe Jackson and so much more. Plus Uncle Sally and Dickie’s dad in the Sopranos prequel, although the film was mediocre. He will be missed. Cool to learn about some facts on Ray Liotta’s life. Happy belated birthday, Mr Franzese...as a former outlaw myself, I can understand why you'd think you'd never see 71...I never thought I'd live to see 30, but I'll be turning 53 this year...hope to be getting you book soon, I'm an alcoholic, so I can't try your wine, but I may still get a bottle as a collector's item...loved Ray, his performance in Goodfellas is absolutely iconic, but he gave his all in every movie, not just the gangster stuff, though I do love that genre...again, happy 71st, with much admiration & respect...

Even though I didn’t like Goodfellas as much as other movies due to some of its romanticized elements. I have to admit it was brilliantly acted and Ray Liotta was an exceptional actor. Cheers to Ray everyone!

Back in the day Michael really reminded me of the french composer Jean-Michel Jarre, and in that regard maybe Michael could make a hosted playlist with his favorite tunes of all time as a one off. Love watching Michaels videos, and he's a sophisticated guy who's into movies and world politics. Opportunity knocks! ❤

Ya know, This was a kind, sincere moment for Mr. F. to have tributed to Mr. Liotta. I have to say that, every video of Mr. F's is a must see. However, the ending of every one of Mr. F's videos...right to the heart. I dunno why anyone wouldn't have time to watch any video at length, but...if you can't, scroll to the end of his videos. Priceless, heart-felt 'finishing' comments from him that we all need to hear. Thank you Mr. F.
