I remember him on Frenchman s Cove as a kid , a chestnut , good jumper , he was the first National Hunt jockey to ride one thousand winners , on Ouzo at Nottingham .

i had the honour and pleasure of knowing stan...he was not only the greatest jump jockey but a true gent and lovely man....this video brought a tear to my eye...he was and is my hero...r i p stan...and thankyou..
