Recently found your channel through the Proper People episode you did. I could listen to you talk about that place all day, Fascinating, Two well known engines here in the UK that are worth checking out is Claymills sewage pumping engine and Papplewick, which was a clean water pumping engine, both victorian beam engines. Gradually looking through your videos, Have subscribed 😎

I am a life member of the Claymills trust and had a lot of fun helping run the place last visit. What a treasure that station is and now "A" engine is complete so all four beams are running

@AEKarnes Excellent, it is indeed a fantastic place. A true place of mechanical beauty, as good as any work of art 🙂 Not been for six months or so, and it must be time for another trip.

I wonder if you've had a chance to visit Cincinnati Triple Steam... on my bucket list. Sadly stationary, of course... the (scrapped) coal bunkers themselves were a marvel.
