Saptak Parivar deeply mourns the sudden and untimely passing away of vocal maestro Padma Bhushan Ustad Rashid Khan on 09-01-24. An apt tribute was paid from the stage of the ongoing 44th Saptak Annual Music Festival 2024 by various artists to the legend of Rampur Sahaswan Gharana. May the departed soul rest in peace. Om Shanti.

ITC sponsored Sangeet Kala Mandal,Bidar had invited him and he mesmerized the audience. Those were the days when he was relatively unknown but we knew he is a rising star and he emerged on the Indian Classical scene in a big way.The only regret is he left too soon and the music world is orphaned. May his soul rest in peace.
