This reminds me of something my father told me when I was young. I used to work on cars in his garage, Some days you would have a bad day, a wrench slips and you smash your knuckles, or you pinch a finger on something, or cross thread a nut. Stop and think about what may be on your mind, a thought, or something someone said, or something bothering you your not aware of, then process that and find a solution, and things will start improving, because you were distracted by something angering or upsetting you. You need to focus on the cause of the problem in order to fix it. Yeah, I never understood, the "You disrespected me" so "I have to kick your ass" mentality. Pathetic and childish. Why people put their street cred as the most important thing in their life. That the first problem with most people. I used to practice martial arts, I studied the Japanese culture, and I use to know the nine hand signs.Big expensive houses, cars, and toys, are just ego strokers, Small d*** compositors. People that have loud radios, Loud cars or bikes, fancy boats, expensive houses, are just making up for some short coming, mentally or physically.

Joey you are right about the mansions...there was an experiment where people who lived in them had a way to track which rooms got used the most and it was the kitchen living room and bathroom. So all that extra money to heat, cool and clean the house when you are really only using 1/2 of the space. But you impress everyone when you have parties and holiday dinners.

This guy is good. Meditation on pain is pretty amazing. Most ppl are busy with people so dont have time to do it. I make time. But how I found this out was when I was forced to have time. Used to get migraines alot. Can visualise the pain by questioning it, the shape, is it expanding, contracting, is it hard or soft, is it fluffy or sharp, what does it look like? Is it moving, can you make it move? This kind of stuff 👌🏻

Your videos always seem to have a good timing, I'll definitely have to try that technique to relieve pain. Also yes, it's very easy to become bitter, angry person in this society. People only tend to focus on themselves nowdays. What helped me was, trying to realize that everyone that I meet is struggling in one way or another. I don't need to add to their misery by being mean and nasty to them. Granted, it's not always easy but trying to be kinder won't hurt anyone. Also once you go through painful experiences yourself, you don't really have an inclination to inflict pain (mental or physical) on other people (and other living beings as well).

Damn I've actually tried this to an extent in the past. I didn't so much focus on the pain but i thought about the pain i was having and it felt more bearable almost. It kind of felt as if it was less bothersome the more conscious i became of that pain and it worked both with physical and mental pain. Gonna try this more. And it sorta makes sense because at the end of the day, pain isn't external, it doesn't exist in the outside world. It's created within our minds

My guess is that the commenter's question is based on according to Maslow's hierarchy of needs, being homeless fails at the base level - putting a roof over your head. Failing life's 'game' at the bottom level was equated to not being 'smart' which is not really that straight forward Maybe its a cope I dont know but the majority of the population including myself havent a need nor a want to experience homelessness. Its a base level priority to have a roof over your head, to have food to eat and water to drink. Can a homeless person have a high IQ while wanting to be homeless?
