Thanks for the video. Petition to name Mk 5 FART boxes "Thunderdomes". Yeah SMM working again was a nice surprise (no more night, huzzah! ). Still looking forward to SF+ dropping and having a go at that again. I think some of the SF+ items are already on the satisfactory calculator website, and if that is indeed the case, it looks like SF+ 1.0 is not going to be any gentler than with update 8 (She be nuts!!). I've been really enjoying the chrome colors, my only gripe with it is there not being a purchasable customizable one from the awesome shop. Id love to accent with bronze, brass, silvers and titaniums with just a colorable metal paint. I find though, the best way to go with that is to tinker with the glossy in a pallete and make the colors duller or darker. I go with a kinda burnished copper and black for most machines, copper for primary on walls steel for my secondary and silver blues for the lovely accenting! Brass and bronze are also fantastic. You're the reason I started decorating my factories in the first place anyway, so its always nice to get a dose of building advice like the stair stack! Thanks for always giving me some satisfactory content to look forward too!

@@BEDplaysGAMES I re-watched the video but I would need clarification as to what kind of balancer it is supposed to be. Re-watching the time I stamped leads me to believe 1 to 4 load balance, but but do it twice. Single splitter on ground level each outside ports straight belted to a splitter each. Those new splitters are the start of 1 to 4 since you already halved the line. Then mirror the design of 2 more splitters on top on these secondary splitters. Should look like one splitter going into 2 stacks at this point. I will call the stack a b and c with a being on bottom. A left goes into input on b facing left, a straight goes in input of c now the back and right of each are open and splitter b and c should have 2 lines coming out of each end, line balanced. This setup sends the outs on a higher level than the inputs to easily keep your lines on the logistics floor clean. YW

@@gamerdweebentertainment1616 Because making them is super simple. throw down a conveyor rail 3 or 4 spaces away and it will snap. I have them in a few blue prints, but I see no need to blueprint them themselves. If I need one, and haven't been forced into the situation then setting it up is 1 stackable conveyor pole, and one conveyor stand, quick snaps, quick delete posts.

My last playthrough I used F.A.R.T. boxes. I'm sure many others settled on a similar design as I've not heard them called that before. Makes things look really clean. Never thought to blue print them. If I start using them in 1.0, I may have to do that.

You can barely fit 2 mergers/splitters in one of the boxes. Tight squeeze but works. You can also, just about, fit an eletric Pylon on top of one.

I can't remember what I was trying to do in testing that made me just stop trying to put mergers in. Of course you can fit one or two inside and use it. I think I was trying to do too much at once.
