you made swanchos before they were fashion! not surprised you'd think of it first and now it's all the rage again.
@ARNECARLOS5 жыл бұрын
I don't think we can take credit for the swoncho being popular right now - we did our first swoncho in 2006 which is a very long time ago and probably has nothing to do with the current rage. But anyway, thanks for your lovely comment!

Oh Arne and Carlos you are not old you know what they say. Like a good wine you improve with age. You have just matured, improved and excelled in e everything you do. What a wonderful book, I would add that to my library even though I couldn’t read it, once again another fun video I love watching Arne knitting, it’s 7am Monday the 8 th of April here in NSW Australia and I could quite easily start knitting but alas☹️ I have other things to do first. Till next time bye for now.

Hello lovely Arne and Carlos, what a fabulous episode-your Mothers are so beautiful and I can see where you get your looks from. Please knit those gorgeous shirts, I knitted a similar set for my first born in 1969, I thought he looked delightful- sadly I don’t have any photos. I wish I could find a copy of your grandmother’s magazine Carlos, it sounds fabulous. Your Barbie designs are breathtaking. Your book is wonderful, wouldn’t it be fabulous if it was translated into different languages. You are both so talented and I do look forward each week to your vlog, you are both like old friends dropping by. Thank you for sharing your creativity and your life with us all. Big hugs and loves to you both, lots of love xxxxxx Dorothy 😘🙋🏻❤️

Yes, we would have loved it if it was translated to other languages, but unlike our books published after 2010, this is a coffee table book and those kind of books don't sell very well, so there aren't many publishers who are willing to publish.

Fantastic video I really appreciate you both sharing your lives with all of us. The book is fantastic the family photos are the best. In my opinion you both resemble your beautiful mothers. I remember the drawing of your Grandmother Arne, what a marvelous representation of your love for her. Oddly enough until you showed the book with all its drawings I didn't realize how complicated designing for others would be. I remember Carlos saying in one of the Q&A videos that it wasn't as easy as one would think. So right you are. Another educational, entertaining and endearing video added to my favorites. I will be viewing this again!

Thanks for your comment. That dress has a very special meaning to us as it was our breakthrough in the fashion industry. The Museum of decorative arts in Oslo, which is part of the National Museum has a top and skirt from this collection, which used to be part of a permanent exhibiton. Currently, the museum is moving to a new location and hopefully the ensemble will be on display again in the future. I'd love to order a copy of the book, and I think a pattern in the boy's shorts would be fun.
