Your layouts and color combinations are always so lovely. A friend of mine passed on to me two vintage Sheaffers (1930s and 40s). Read that ph neutral inks are good for these, so I use J. Herbin Bleu Pervenche. Thanks, Liane. It's actually amazing how consistent you've been over the years. My hournals are all over the place.

This was such a fun video to watch! I loved getting to see your ink journal journey and how some things subtly shifted over time. I'll definitely be picking up a bottle of Diamine Green Uber after seeing your swatch - so beautiful. 😍😍😍 I personally love and prefer narrated videos, but I know there's a huge faction of people who also like to just have ASMR and no talking experiences, too, so I don't think a non-speaking take would be a bad thing.

I'm a fan of narration. So I always prefer to have talking in the videos I watch. Thank you Liane! I have loved this series of swatching videos, and I can't wait for the next swatching season videos! I hope you will do some dupe discovery for those very hard to find or, impossible to find inks! Lisa

I took a look at your Lavender Gray video, and the inks at 12:43 in this video seem to be (from the top left, clockwise): 123, 252, Thunderstorm, and 224.

Hi Liane, I enjoyed this so much and I do love what you have to say about all the inks! I may change my currently inked in the future (next notebook) too, I loved the larger ink blob pages and then also separate pages where you just line up writing samples. I think I’ve already watched this three times! Thank you! ☺️ 🖋💗🙌🏻

I found using baseball card protectors and a binder method works great for me. It appeals to my sorting and organizing while getting to see what inks I have in the bottle and samples. I will have a wishlist and done sections for my samples and move the cards when I buy more. 😳 I still have the inked for the month in my journal. I have them numbered and use a random number generator on my phone.

This was a beautiful flip through. It’s funny because I LOVE the Kakimori pen nib. It is my favorite nib for writing when I want to test an ink. It doesn’t hold as much ink as the brass or stainless, I agree, but I do enjoy it as a test nib. Thanks for sharing your ink book.
@lianelikes8 ай бұрын
Yes, for ink tests, the pen nib would probably do the trick! I'll have to re-visit using the pen nib just for testing purposes and see!

What a treat!! This was so fun to watch, especially as a long time subbie! I love how you have this sort of memory keeper of your ink journey, I'm so happy you shared this with us! I remember so many videos that feature this very notebook ❤Your favorites are being exposed too, lol, I should've tracked all the times I saw Ancient Copper, Tang Mi Se Blue, Opera Rose and Ina Ho 🤭All of them are my absolute fav inks! I recently feel in love with Kyujang-gak, so far it's been re-inked every month since I purchased the bottle😍 Thank you so much for sharing your journey

I think my Opera Rose and Brunch Date inks lean more orangey than pink for me in my bottles. I love them anyway and want to try Rusty Anchor to see if it’s the color I’m looking for. I love your ink journal and can’t wait to see the new ink journal that you create. You have helped me open my ink explorations to more inks because I was a permanent ink only person. I love to see all the inks that I can explore and see the beautiful colors on my journal pages. I was always afraid of losing my words in the ink colors because of them not being waterproof... I love all your videos and thank you so much for making them; I can’t wait to see what you explore next...

Wonderful video! I just got a new fountain pen and was curious about new ink colors I might want to try. Quick question: which venue would you recommend for selling fountain pens? I want to sell my Lamy Studio and Pilot Vanishing Point. Any advice for someone who has never sold pens before? Many thanks in advance. ❤
