For a true “Disney with a Stroller” experience you need to use a crappy umbrella stroller (because you don’t want to take your good stroller on the plane), pick the busiest bus and make sure you are the last one on the bus and you are getting off on the last bus stop. Now that’s a fun time! Oh and you have strapped twenty pounds of junk on the stroller. The last time my family got on the bus and had to leave me to follow on the next bus.
@SRose-vp6ew4 жыл бұрын
And don't forget that every single parent had the SAME great idea to stop at Wal-Mart when they got to Orlando where they ran in and quick bought the SAME Disney umbrella stroller. 😅Now add to that cast members move strollers.😲The smart parents brought a ribbon, laminated identifier, or something to put on their stroller so they would know it's their stroller. Final warning. A balloon is NOT the solution, I repeat a balloon is NOT the solution. A balloon may even be the bigger problem for several reasons from your kids letting it hit people in the face to them crying when it "accidently" pops or floats away after hitting several people in the face. 😬

Regarding the stroller... when we had little ones we used a smaller travel stroller and it was a lot more convenient than the full sized one. One thing to consider as Jackson gets a bit bigger is that he's going to want to get out of the stroller but won't always want to walk. If you don't want to spend the whole day carrying him, look into getting a Buggy Board. It's a platform that attaches behind the back wheels of the stroller that he can stand on and ride, and it was a life saver for us. No affiliation with the company that sells them... just passing along a parenting hint. But with the number of people who stopped us to ask about it, we could have made a living selling them in Disney World!

So as far as capacity, what I’ve been reading across different boards and blogs, is that capacity has remained the same (25%?) BUT when Disney world first opened they weren’t even hitting the 25% capacity because no one wanted to go. But now that restrictions are being lifted all over the US and CA people still have no disneyland, more people are traveling to visit the FL parks, which is why it feels like the parks are more crowded.

Masks (partially) work by keeping large viral loads in the mask as the "sick person" spits or coughs globs. The virus itself is not going to be stopped by a mask. Sick people should not go to Disney and amazing new refund policies could actually be Disney's best way to fight Covid-19. Masks actually do make sense for food workers talking over food but they are not magical at illness prevention and children and young adults seem safer with this than the flu. Those at risk of breathing issues with covid-19 should not even think about being in the parks if they need others to "properly" mask so their are a tiny fraction less likely to get ill. About 9% of people nationwide have been infected with the coronavirus, according to Stanford School of Medicine. I get that we are not trying to overwhelm hospitals but they are not being overwhelmed because our young getting ill are not even going to hospitals but recovering at home and bringing us to needed herd immunity for our elderly and at risk to be able to come out of quarantine(where they can choose to be regardless of the rules or laws). Also if you know you already had covid-19 why would you mask? That's an odd rule. If vaccine shedding isn't a risk where those post vaccine must mask how are people who already had this putting others at risk when they don't mask? At what point are the rules nonsensical? Nurses only get a mask(I have never seen a true N-95 "fitted" mask for covid-19) and can be in the community but if a nurses kid is in a class, even with their mask on, but another child get's Covid-19 even with their mask on, the whole school shuts down because masks are not thought to work and the kids all sit together and take them off while they eat. Thank God everyone seems to have a Great-Grandma who can babysit every other day now that school has changed their schedule for our "safety." 🙄I swear what is going on is murder. Oh, and if your elderly and even have a single sign of covid-19 you get placed directly on the covid-19 floor till your 2 day testing results come back and you can than be released back into the community or other floors. May the odds ever be in your favor.
@twoblacklabs9044 жыл бұрын
@@SRose-vp6ew “...needed Herd Immunity?” Absurd. The 60% - 70% herd PROTECTION - it’s not even “immunity” per se, because people would STILL acquire the SARS CoV-2 virus, and STILL get infected, would require a massive loss of American lives that would be into the MILLIONS, not just hundreds of thousands! Please stop promoting that ridiculous anti-containment rhetoric. It’s dangerous...and not a healthy proposition.

I’m wondering if maybe there were smaller crowds over the last few months because of COVID 19, and this is what 25% looks like; especially if there are certain sections that get a bit bottlenecked; maybe at meal times & more popular attractions... when shows let out; etc. 🤔😉🤗
