Being a Yankee fan and someone who hopes to own a Vespa 300GTS someday (not to mention does countless searches on it) I can't believe it took this long for this video to get in my recommendations but glad it finally did. The GTS really does seem like it can do it all!

Thanks for checking out the video! You obviously have great taste in both baseball teams and scooters. Ha! I’ve been thrilled all that the GTS can do, and have found it to be an extremely comfortable ride. The upright riding position allows for all-day riding if you so choose. I hope you’re able to enjoy your own GTS someday soon!

That you rode your Vespa on 80E to the Bronx and then downtown is most definitely amazing. It says alot about what that scooter is capable of. Good stuff. I just got the 2023 Super Tech and though I'm a newbie to the world of the Vespa I've been enjoying it thru and thru. Cheers!

Thanks, Rick! The city riding was definitely the best part and I’d love to get back there again sometime soon. Congratulations on your new Super Tech! They are certainly fun machines.

Your note takes me back to when I was waiting for my GTS to arrive. I sat around watching scooter videos for weeks in anticipation! Congrats on the new Vespa. You’re gonna love it.

Looks like sure a great fun filled day! We moved out 5 years ago and the only things i miss are good bagels, chinese food and pizza :) Fun place to live when your young but not at all when older.

That’s awesome. I’ve often wondered if living in New York would be something I’d enjoy, especially since I love to visit. Riding in the city was probably the most fun I’ve had on the GTS so far. I’m scheming a return trip!

Awesome! You did this all in one day?
@heckadude Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I rode up from Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, on Thursday and returned on Friday. It’s ordinarily about a 200 mile trip one way, but I took the meandering route. My total mileage for the trip was just under 600 miles.

I could have watched for much longer. It seems to be a very diverse city.

Thank you for the kind words. I thoroughly enjoyed riding through the city and hope to get back there and experience it regularly. It was an experience I hadn’t felt before inside a car or walking the sidewalks.

Well gee, I guess you don't have any reliability concerns any more! What a great trip, a real adventure on a Vespa. Traveling across I-80 to New York on a Vespa is a lot different than doing it in a car. I'm not sure which is in control -- your baseball addiction or your scooter addiction. Maybe both. I see you're taking advantage of New Jersey's absence of a no-lane-splitting law. Glad to see none of the cagers were impolite. So where's your next adventure? Disneyworld? Or to see a SpaceX launch??

This trip was on my bucket list for last summer and we know how that turned out! I had my fingers crossed that the Vespa would be healthy enough for a trip like this and on Wednesday night (with Suzanne’s blessing) I decided I’d just go for it! Thankfully the weather cooperated and it was a beautiful and sunny couple of days. Even the good guys won one for me on the baseball diamond. Yes! The locals on 2-wheels gave me an education on lane-splitting and I was only too happy to throw my hat in the ring in that regard on the occasions where traffic was at a standstill. That was pretty cool, and I’d love to see Pennsylvania institute some allowances for that sort of thing. I’m still in one piece and for that I’m thankful. I guess you can say, I ❤️ NY!

Nice dash-you look at it half the time while driving. I'm dying to get a scooter or a minmoto next year. I live in Quebec City. I want to fo to Peter Luger's, Gahlager's and Jewish delicatessen for a knish. Not been to NYC. Love the jazz!

Thanks, John. I’ve never visited Quebec City…what a beautiful town…I’ve added it to my bucket list. It looks like a perfect setting for a scooter. Fingers crossed you find yourself on a scooter someday soon!

If you make it here, see Fort Levis, The Artillery Museum in QC, Bar le Sacrement, Charbon is our equivalent to Peter Lugers, I work for an old school flambe resto le Continental. When in Montreal, all you need is on St Catherine's St., Disneyland is la Ronde on Ile Ste Helene.@@heckadude

I let my licesne expire in 2013, due to poverty. Taking the test Thursday, wish me luck! I am a little worried because I just read in the paper about a woman who failed the test 120X-maybe she should try it in English FFS!@@heckadude
