Whoa, this is crazy! I know I'm a little late on this, but I never actually watched this. I didn't know that they had actual voices for the Toontorial, that's epic!! Flippy's voice sounded like a young boy actually, despite from being a female voice, so I actually loved every second of this! =)

A bit of lingual info from a Japanese student ... - General terms, such as Toons, Cogs, Toon/Cog Buildings, Toon HQ, SpeedChat etc. have the same names in Japanese. - Cog names, however, seem to be completely different. I'm not sure here, but I think they're supposed to be puns. Here are the ones I could transcribe: Flunky -> Obekker (NO idea what this is supposed to mean xD) Short Change -> Choromakashii (Might be a pun on the verb "choromakasu", to pickpocket Gladhander -> Oogeesa (Again, no idea xD) Downsizer -> Restruman (Pun on "restructuring") Bottom Feeder -> Taikomote (Again, no idea) - The one Trolley game we saw, Jungle Vines, is called Jungle Jump in Japanese.

I hope the TTR devs include Japanese translation into the multilingual support they've been working on. That would be great. They should also make different whitelist files for each language they support so that any language can be spoken in type chat and still appear in-game (so everyone sees the Japanese speech bubbles from Japanese players, as would the Japanese players see English speech bubbles).

I was like 7 and kept clicking around the site until a registration-looking-page came up. lol Then I just ran around trying to figure out the phrases just by remembering their places in english toontown. The smilie faces were obvious though. heehee Flippy's voice sounds like he's from an anime or something. xD So cool.

This was Japanese Toon Town. It closed in 2010. Regular american Toon Town was the last server to close, which was in 2013. There's Toon Town Rewritten now, which ironically, was made by this KZbinr! But this is what old Toon Town looked like, but it wasn't what beta Toon Town looked like, if that's what you mean. There isn't much footage of beta.
