Very good video. I would like to see what you do on pre-check. Do’s and don’t at the fuel dock. Especially if there are boats shuttling in and out. Do you give the boat right of way when they push off? I’ve never pumped a boat out. Do’s and don’t’s. Is there a fee? Did you take turns in the galley? Or did you dine out every night? Thanks.
@CullenCraft
@CullenCraft Жыл бұрын
Sarah was very kind to be the ship's chef the whole time. But we were also lucky to be in port every night close enough to restaurants. Pump out sometimes costs money, it depends on the dock. I'll probably never make a video about that just because of the gross visuals. Don't wanna look at it too close.

We did the Great Loop in 2016-2017 with the same gas 3750. We installed a big 24V, 7HP aft truster before the loop. Strongly suggest the owners do the same as the aft on the 3750 can be a sail when docking or locking trough. You do not need a bow thruster as you can always get the bow in the correct location. Aft trusters are cheeper to install as only one large whole and no fiber glassing. Batteries and charger can be located under the aft bed. Just about any marina can install and aft thruster system. We also added a second joy stick control at the port aft by the swim deck steps. That is great backing in to a slip ( 1st Mate control of it ) or holding aft against or away from a lock wall.

If Annapolis to Jacksonville is the first leg of the Great Loop for Rob and Sarah, does that mean they will continue the trip in a clockwise direction? That would mean going against the current on the Mississippi River.
@CullenCraft
@CullenCraft Жыл бұрын
Strangely, their plan is to double back clockwise They wanted a home port in Florida because that's close to their house. Now they go back north, this time stopping at all the places they skimmed through the last 12 days

Soooooo...... I was watching this Yt vid last night...... After watching Ya'll next to last chapter of course.... And that channel had guests aboard from Nostromo!!!!! I scrambled with remote to check the date the video was published, and that video is two years old, so you can see where I was extrapolating that that couple might have been the previous owners of the boat!!!!! 🛥️
