I work for a company called Rainbow Studios, and our CEO gave me my first time managing a team. She insisted on giving people second chances and looking at our processes rather than assuming the person is incapable. About a year ago, some VC’s who has taken over our parent company messed up and the stock dropped 40%, and they tried to close the studio down. So my CEO bought the company, hired back as many of us as she could afford to, and then gave away 51% of the companies ownership to us. Can you imagine how prosperous our economy would be of CEO’s simply adopted this same style of ownership?

I agree. I graduated high school in 95. No college. Work on self knowledge and working from job to job. And now I make really good money. It can be done.

It's hard to give second chances to people who just don't care that much. Too many people are only there for a paycheck, and don't think they need to put in any extra effort. I fire those people because there are others who will do a much better job and are way less stressful.
