I study climate but don't feel paralysed. The earth has seen many changes in climate before... We can make a change and we have the chance to turn this around but we must act and stop discussing. Somehow we must turn the debate in the right action mode.

I think it is very likely that climate change will be utterly catastrophic, but I can relate to the optimism she talks about. Optimism that we have the capacity to act collectively and change the trajectory we are on.

Christiana, I AM the depression you speak of. Because of this video you made I will continue to move forward. Offshore wind farms and solar panels above every parking lot and big box store in the United States is not a utopian dream. It’s very doable and in fact can provide jobs for many young people.
