This is based on a true story of a determined junior school football team in Kawake Xiang
“Dream, Grows from Heart” is based on a true story of a junior school football team from the remote small town of Kawakexiang in Xinjiang, China.
Directed by Golden Horse Best New Director 2012 winner Jung-chi Chang, the story began with the invitation from Urumqi 5th Primary School to play a friendly match. The teacher and his team were determined to make the journey but unfortunately they were too poor to afford the travelling expenses.
