Once I was able to build Shiva I kept his base kit and gave him Null Ice, Null Force, Boon Boost EX, and High Almighty Pleroma. He basically has resistance and immunity to all affinities now

Why does he have Boon Boost EX, wont he just spam Tandava and renew the debuff every turn? Could use the slot for great life spring or repel/drain force instead.

how about a video to explain people how to build their demons ? (Like using the Fusion Calculator and listing usefull passive skills or negating weaknesses and such. Would be really interesting how you approach those things and which skills to prioritze)

One thing that annoys me is that you can’t give a demon sutras to increase their skill potential if they didn’t already have at least +1 on that particular skill. It really limits the potential of any given demon, which makes each one unique but sutras are already rare enough that if you take the time to farm enough of them to alter your demons with them, I think you earned it. Still a great game though

I like it because it makes each Demon more distinct from one another. Like if you want a good Fire Demon, you aught to find one with Fire Skill Potential, instead of using the same Demons for everything. I can see how it could be annoying though.

I honestly don't see the point of putting Boon Boost EX in Shiva when you'll essentially be using Tandava every single turn anyways. This is specially true for Demi-fiend due to how often Dekunda is used in that fight. It's much better to put in Drain/Repel Wind instead. Otherwise, the rest of the build is spot on.

While having all the prayer miracles unlocked, level up the 2 or 3 demons required to fuse *the demon whose stats* you want buffed. SO if I wanted shiva to have buffed stats, I'd level up the demons required to fuse her, then fuse them at level 99.

Aight hear me out this shiva build is nice and all but it can do better. Shiva has +6 phy and very high str and ag. You could do a lot more damage with: Myraid slashes Figment flash Hell thrust Impaler’s animus Critical zelot Phy pheloroma High Phy pheloroma Dragon eye Against most bosses just figment flash to gain extra turns and the myraid after using omagatoki. This shiva does 2000+ damage per action without buffs. And for the demi-fiend fight you can figment flash the other demons and impaler + myriad and domun Galdi + thrust in the omagatoki trun. That’s a ton of damage. This build has the advantage of doing heaps of damage, being reliable, universally useful, and mp cheap. I know tandava is cool but other demons can debuff better, shiva can do MC amounts of damage with this build.

Tandava is much, much better in the Demi-Fiend fight. See my Demi-Fiend with 4 Demons vid: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nImvm2WEpJaKrbc. Being able to lower Def by 2 stages at the start of a turn is extremely valuable in a fight that has so much Dekunda spam. De-buffs are a lot higher value than damaging moves

​@@bainz That's a fair point, and you're right that keeping up buffs is harder in the Demi-fiend fight (good vid too). I'm still theory crafting my fight against the Demi-fiend (don't have much free time these days) but my gut feeling is that if you could have two MCs you would. My shiva build is pretty much the same as my MC (except swap myraid for akashaka ) so what I'm planning is MC, shiva, Demeter, Inu (all outfitted somehow to resist phy, doing it 1st playthrough so no repel phy). Focus down pixe, cerberus, and jack with criticals, leaving them about to die and counting Demi's turns, in rounds where posible impaler + figment on Demi from shiva (my MC has 68~ ag, too risky against Demi's 99). I'm confident on hitting demi for 5k dmg on the rounds where I can get away with pierce figment and estimated 8K (MC pierce akashaka) + 7K (pierce myraid) + 8K (2 Donum Hell thrusts) on a omagatoki turn with some buff setup ofc. I'll let you know if I made it in a month or two :P
