This is actually super cool, as i dont often see snow from November-February. We get lots of snow strangely in March/April, which is weird, but year by year, our weather events are getting worse. As a winter lover, i wish to see snow stick for more than a month, since in my area we get snow but it doesnt even last a day. Welp, 🇮🇪 is 🇮🇪 like usual. Wish to live in snowy places!
@kormosmate26 ай бұрын
That's interesting, which area do you live to have such odd weather?
@R3dS3a6 ай бұрын
@kormosmate2 The flag tells it all. We get our strange weather events from the U.S., which explains the "odd" weather events. We have many storms, and we now often experience bomb cyclones, which this year we experienced 2 back to back. The weird March/April snow is a Nor-Easter which we also get from the U.S and usually lasts for a day. About 3-12cm accumulates on the ground when those events happen.

Summer there lasts slightly longer than Summer lasts in Connecticut. It is warm there only in July and August. Snow lasts from mid-October until May, but not usually continuous. Maine has no Summer. It is either Winter or early Spring or Autumn there. Here in Phoenix, we have 5 seasons. Spring, Summer 1, HELL, Summer 2, Autumn. It never, ever snows here.
@BadgerCheese949 жыл бұрын
What a crock of shit. Connecticut does NOT have snow from October to May. October is 60s to 40s with golden leaves, totally autumn and the snow is gone in April, usually mid-March. Exaggerate much?
@SouthwesternEagle9 жыл бұрын
BadgerCheese94 October 15, 2009 we had snow. Look it up. Usually October is how you described, but from 2007-2010 when I lived there, it was cold almost all the time. May 2008 we had snow as well. It depends on where you live in the state. I lived in Sandy Hook, which is at an elevation of 800 feet. I stated that it's not continuous. Those are the months that snow falls.
@BadgerCheese949 жыл бұрын
SouthwesternEagle Well I can guarantee you that Sweden is far worse in that regard, and their summers are cooler
@SouthwesternEagle9 жыл бұрын
BadgerCheese94 I'm sure it is colder in Sweden. I'm so thankful that I moved away from CT in June 2010, because there have been CRAZY snow storms dumping 2-4 feet the last few years! Summer has been hot there lately too. Phoenix is nice because we have dry heat, but that's changing. Last August, we had a day that was 114 degrees with sunshine and 46% humidity. You can't imagine how bad that feels. Even at 1 AM, it was still 104. People were advised not to drive that day.
@chargerfish19 жыл бұрын
You ever even been to Maine? its usually warm enough for a t shirt most days from May-Sept sometimes longer. and we reach the high 80's and low 90's on a frequent basis from late june to mid august. We've even hit the 100 mark a couple times, but the winter is snowy and cold. We Truly have 4 seasons.

YOU DO NOT REPRESENT: in Ukraine, in general, snow falls in winter 3-5 times a year. Toist in February begins to tiplet somewhere from -12 to 9 degrees and then on April 10 everything starts to turn green and in summer the heat is 40 degrees and in October it starts to get cold sharply from 18 to 4 degrees. When winter comes and snow falls, then I am so happy because in winter it snows only 3-5 times a year. EVERY YEAR EVERY YEAR IS LESS AND LESS SNOW!!!

Norway in the December days looks so dark
@bestchannelintheworld2 жыл бұрын
even June and July are extremely dark as most days are gloomy with so many layers of clouds that you can't see even a tiny patch of blue in the sky. June and July get 45% of possible sunshine. On an average summer day, you would have difficulty reading a fucking newspaper outdoors without artificial lighting. It truly is the shittiest climate on Earth. Even Siberia is much better as it's sunnier.

@@bestchannelintheworld You're overreacting, I live close to Oslo and it's really not that bad.
@bestchannelintheworld2 жыл бұрын
@@ravenchild7517 well we (Oslo + Stockholm + Helsinki) still do have the worst climate of all major cities in the whole Europe. No summer and no sunshine. Sure, Britain has bad summers and low sunshine too, but at least they have warm subtropical winters with green lawns.
@ravenchild75172 жыл бұрын
@@bestchannelintheworld But we do have summers and sunshine. Sure most days are gray, but during the summers there's also a lot of beautifully sunny days, even if it's not as much sunshine as in the average country, we still got some days that are sunny. Edit: I don't live in one of the major cities thought, I live in a smaller town relatively close to Oslo. So maybe it's worse in the capitols?

Lockness Monster Because the earth takes time to warm or cool from more or less sun is why the vernal equinox is way colder than the autumnal equinox even though day and night times are exactly the same on both of those days. It’s also why the summer solstice is not the hottest day of the year and the winter solstice is not the coldest day of the year, even though those are the days with the longest daytime and longest night time.
