This is what I keep saying about Pablo: MAN'S A WARRIOR. He's been fighting the haters, bashers, doubters, the loneliness, and most of all, himself. The problems SB19 has faced externally and internally, he puts them into words and music and then he allows the world to hear and see it, laying bare his emotions before others. His music is medicine he concocts from the poisons of his demons and his enemies. With it, he heals himself and everyone around him. His music is the bricks he molds from the trash and stones thrown at them. With it, he builds the walls that protect his people as well as the towers that bring them to greater heights. Music is weapon, armor and bullets, each one a masterpiece crafted from the furnace that is his heart. He draws strength from and for his weaknesses and that's what makes him BRAVE. Regarding Josh and Justin being as important as the other members being part of the framework and foundation of their whole song and music is very true, as both boys dont received as much recognition as the other members.. It's actually Josh's line before the bridge that makes me the most emotional... "heto na naman ako patungo sa prisinto, mag-iisip ng kung ano-ano. Kailan ba'ng laya ko dito?" -- That part, he was almost whispering but daaaaaamn I feel the pain in his voice. He did so well. They're all so freaking talented huhuhuhuh!

the build up starts here and he set an amazing room for the build up with his talk-singing emotional voice till everyone in the end joins in harmony... this has always been a favorite even over Liham and though I am not in the same emotional state as the song conveys, it just is beautiful on its own even if the lyrics get replaced by nonsensical syllables (just give it the same singing delivery they did in this wish bus) , the music in it stands out.

I find that Josh's part is so hard to sing because its so low and he has to be focus otherwise the line will be screwed up.

Me too, I feel most emotional starting from that part of Josh, then until the song ends... Josh's whisper sounded like he's helpless, then Justin's part after that is like hating it that he's helpless, it's like he's starting to be bold, then Ken, Stell and Pablo's parts are like they finally became the warriors.

I love them all!❤❤❤ but Pablo will always have a special place in my heart. This guy earned my reverence for the songs he made and for the way he delivers each song, you can tell it came from deep within his soul. During the bridge part of the song when Ken delivers his line "papalapit na..." Ken's tone was perfect and delivered it in a way the song was meant to be delivered - with angst and anticipation, you are listening to him intently but then you hear this vulnerable cry in the background as Pablo does his adlib and immediately my attention was drawn to his cries because they sound so vulnerable and desperate that you want to go to him and soothe him and tell him "everything is going to be fine, Im here, Im listening". Yeah, a little bit of an over reaction on my part but thats the magic of Pablo.❤❤❤

SB19 is a strong, strong group. Even if you think that a certain member or two would be "weak" in certain songs, they constantly prove you wrong. That's because they know how to play their strengths. It's an advantage that Pablo knows who to use and when. Even in the dancing and choreography, they know who, how, and when to feature the right member. They don't have to be perfect to be strong.

Whenever Pablo record their song demos, he's also singing those parts as how the other members he wanted to sound. He'd sing Josh's part as how he thinks Josh could do it. Also he'd sing Ken's part as low as he could to emphasize how bass it should be. Same as the other members' role.

You want news? Stell will be Erik Santos' special guest in his concert tour in the US and Canada in June. So excited for and so proud of Stell. To put what Waleska was trying to say in this particular song, they had to sing this in 14 world tour stops and it's a very taxing song so it's understandable that some members tweak some parts every now and then coz their voices were not always 100% in good condition. They also had to do heavy choreographies while singing. In Stell's case, he still needed to belt it out, song after song after song, whether ballad or dance songs. But also, mind you, Stell also sang Defying Gravity in every tour stops and some, even two nights in a row. I think, they've already had enough training and experience to do great consistently. Like there's no downtime for them.

for me ... i always say these ... singer like Justin in a group is essential also ... i call them Reset Singer/ Neutral Singers... they dont shine that much, they are not weak but they are also not strong just enough for you to hold onto the song ... if a group is composed of/with very strong people ... the people will always expect its always gonna be like UP! UP! UP! ( i mean power ... like if a group consist of only strong vocalists thats gonna be boring and predictable) but with singers like Justin after the song progressed a bit, it will reset then the people will calm then it will progressed again ... the people will not gonna get used easily to the song because of the resets that Justin-like singers could give a song couldnt be like that, it needs some resets thats why their songs are really good example of a group with the same composition like SB19 is 2NE1 - Dara is their reset singer/neutral singer its just my observation

Ur so right about music and movies. I love movie theme songs... it creates an imagery in my mind when listening to their theme songs. Ilaw and Liham make me "feel" the same way when I listen to Moriconne's Gabriel Oboe or Alan Silvestri's Forrest Gump Theme song. What, Determinado gives me the vibe for movies like Hans Zimmer's Interstellar with layers of punk, rock, rap, hip hop, anime music and angst. Mana makes me think it can be a good substitute to that fight scene in the Fifth Element when the diva was singing! It's just those imagery comes to mind when listening to these music. Maybe someone can make "superimpose" (is that even the right word?) Mana over that video of Fifth Element with the Diva singing while Lela was in a fight scene and we can see if it really works...

I, on the other hand, just appreciates music and arts in general. Plus, my imagination sometimes go all over the place when a music captures my being :-) In a perfect concert (for me), I would have Billy Joel & Amy Grant sing with SB19. Amy Grant songs from Lead Me On (esp Lead Me On, Shadows, saved by love, Faithless Heart and What About the Love) and Billy Joel songs (esp. Moving Out, Allentown, the Longest Time (my daydream inspired by SB19 collab with JVKE), And so it goes, Angry Young Man, A Matter of trust, Honesty, Stranger) where SB19 can sing their songs with them; and Billy Joel can sing SB19 songs like Ilaw, Mana, Determinado(Josue must be in this too), WYAT, & Akala with Piano Man; and Amy Grant sings Nyebe, Liham, Mapa, and Bazinga with them. Kinda like the way JVke and SB19 did. Their songs have the same diversity and vibe I usually enjoy so it would be interesting how the songs will sound with them in a concert. I do wish SB19 gets invited into one of Billy Joel's concert in NY as a guest performer. But when it comes to movies - Determinado by Pablo and Josue in Mission Impossible - any of those hand sweating moments when Tom Cruise does his impossible stunts, Freedom (Gamora and Peter falls in love again in the new timeline and they fly away!!!), Bazinga (fight scenes), WYAT (when the team meets again, since the last one they all separated) for Guardians of the Galaxy; and as mentioned above Mana for Fifth Element diving singing with fight scenes. Tnks for this very professional review...including the middle foundation, whose importance were often overlooked BC their neither the highest nor the lowest wc attract most attention, but whose presence makes their sound so good, meaning not boring. But Pablo...our dearest Pablo, for me, made SB19 as a group, and each as soloist shine, Bec of his compositions. It was his compositions that made each talent be recognized. It was his motivation that made each feel confident of their own previously unrecognized talent. It was his unselfish love for the group, more than personal gain, that navigated them to where they are.
