Diane, I also kit up by symbols starting with numeric, then alphabetic, then keyboard symbols, dots, arrows, etc. I do mine going across the row closest to me left to right and work my way towards the back. I used to kit up by legend number, but once I started doing it by symbols, I haven’t done it any other way. I find it a lot easier. Like you said, there is no wrong way to do it so whatever feels most comfortable to each person, is the right way. ❤

Hi Diane, I do it the same way as you do: first numbers, then the alphabet and then the symbols which I always group in arrows, circles, triangles,... I could never do it by color, that would drive me crazy🤪😆
