A Tweed Valley Weekend | Gala Hill | Innerleithen

2 day jaunt:
A reccy up at Gala Hill first to check the fallen tree status after the storms. GH/DH, Ravens Roost and Poop To The Gate (twice) first, then meet up with Roddy and Stu from the TrolleyboardersMTB guys, next day, for some very wet and slippy steep tech at Innerleithen's legendary trails.
Slowly!
Gala Hill was running wet and slippery in the exposed areas, but superb, loamy and grippy under the trees. Innerleithen was treacherous with sniper roots and slick-wet conditions in the rain the next day. All great fun though. And hopefully good practice and experience for when it eventually dries out and warms up.
