Kenyan food!!! Ugandan tries Kenyan Food for the first time / Kenyan Cuisine
Nyama choma is a grilled or roasted meat dish popular in East Africa, particularly in Kenya. Kenyan food!!! Ugandan tries Kenyan Food for the first time / Kenyan Cuisine. The term Nyama choma translates to roasted meat in Swahili. it typically refers to beef, goat or chicken that is seasoned with salt and sometimes with other spices, then grilled over an open fire. the meat (nyana choma) is often served with a side of ugali (a maize meal porridge) and kachumbari (a fresh tomato and onion salad). Nyama choma is a staple dish to social gatherings, restaurants and roadside food stalls in Kenya and Tanzania. In Uganda its not that common

Nicholas, your wrong on the retention of vitamins in food and how they are cooked. The healthiest form of cooking Vegetables is by Steaming or baking (roasting) them. Then sautéed in a little bit of Vegetable, Canola, peanut, SunFlower, or Olive oil. Do not use Coconut or Palm oil When you boil a vegetable, a lot of the Vitamins get washed away with the water. Hope this opens your eyes on the subject

We need to get you a tripod/phone stand so that you can place it somewhere and enjoy it in peace. Great videos always. I did not know that tamarind is for manpower, I have always known it to be good for digestion, especially for those that have indigestion or constipation.

@@EatingTheAfricanWay true, diet has to be watched. However, eating a lot of meat in one seating frequently is also another thing. Meat takes 3 days to digest with the natural help of enzymes. And that is why things like (kachumbari), fruit, veggies, chillie, fibre are given; to speed up the process. Using garlic, lemon, adding greens like sukuma wiiki or spinach is not only for flavour, it is also for softening that food in the belly so that it can exit well. 😅
