This is a very good idea, but: a) I would use 50% less material for the same thing and b) it would be a better idea to place your plunger on a full circle-round base, so you don't cut accidentally if there is no stop. 🙂 It is also _wrong_ that you are not measuring by the round side of the plunger, but by the flat one. You see, the router has a round edge *for a reason* : one should *always* guide the router by the round side: that way one will always ensure correct distance, because you are still holding your router with two hands and that is still always inaccurate by definition no matter how hard you try.
