I wouldnt have gone through what this Sheik Hussain has gone through. I would have give up long time ago. But he had a strong will power and more Allah SWTs will as well. Wish him duniya and jannatul firdosh Insha Allah.

I do agree with whatever comments that Uztaz Hussein Yee had mentioned with regards the malay culture and the Muslims in Malaysia. I like his definition of I.S.L.A.M. as "I Shall Love All Mankind".

Subhanallah...now every one of us as Muslim must be ready. If any of the non-Muslim and even the Muslims who wanted to know Islam in more details from us, we should know how to help them. If Ustaz Hussain Ye lived in China, I believe he may experienced another negative situation. I had lived in Chine for 2 years and always think how the Chinese Muslim in China would explain if their non-Muslim Chinese friends wanted to know more about Islam.

I am embarrassed, because I am a Malay Muslim. But, Masha'Allah, everything that Syeikh Hussain Yee said is true. We (the Muslim Malays especially) need to change now, and follow the true teachings of Islam. Once we're Muslims, we're all Brothers. What Ustaz Hussain said is true. I am a Malay and I ashamed with my people in the past. The Malay culture is mixed with Hindu that came before Islam. Some of the Malay did practice some of the black Magic etc. They also isolated and narrow minded when think what Malay is what Islam. More worst is a thought that only Malays are Muslim. This happens because of Norms and Dogma of the culture. Luckily it has change now. We also had Chinese Muslim MP, We had change now. Alhamdulillah.

I spent my childhood in Penang , Malaysia. SH Yee said that the Malay Muslims then did not try to dakwah the Chinese. As I was going around with many Chinese friends, I learned that they were afraid of one thing whenever the word Islam was mentioned. That was the word " potong " . They were very intimidated by that . I was ignorant too , to ever explain further,

Please do not be angry with the Malays for putting the Islam upon the race. Its only because they do not want their descendents to ever choose a religion other than Islam. Islam is nikmat for them so everybody must stay within the embrace of Islam. Malays are loving people. They love their children and the King love the people. So be it

Assalamualaikom, im from malaysia, i know the History of my country, but we have to see from both sides. at that time, there is conflict between the Malays and the Bhudha Chinese in Malaysia, and the chinese was called COMMUNIST, where, malay fight against the communists by ethnicity and religion, That why Malays do not like chinese (in that time), because of that, the Malays were suspicious of Hussein Yee and treated him so.(at that time), the Chinese who convert to Islam is a communist spy. Emergency was declared at the time. Alhamdulillah now we live in peace in a multicultural country... i love syeikh Hussin yee n all my muslim brothers, I am here just to explain the truth situation, about the story that was told by him
