I love the sound on your Rama U80 in the stock switch test. Does the Rama have the pom plate and mods you showcased in a previous video?

Hey! Aussie represent! Insane quality video for a small channel! How do these switches feel/sound compared to long poles? Are they similar feeling on bottom out, or more like regular linears? I find long poles too tiring but regular linears don’t have enough feedback for me :S

Cheers mate! I haven't really had experience with long poles yet so I can't comment on the comparison but comparing these switches to other linears I've tried I can say that they feel more responsive. There's definitely a noticeable bottom out on these, however at 63.5 grams they are a tad lighter than the 65-67g linears I'm used to. I've been using them for awhile now and on extensive sessions I haven't experienced any fatigue. If you're considering them I definitely recommend!

I get that feeling with desk mats a lot of the time too, which is why I use a leather mat. Do you also have trouble touching paper or velvet?
@dill-keebs Жыл бұрын
Not so much paper or velvet, but most pencil cases are a no from me. Leather is a good alternative I just found that it caused too much friction with my mice! Even with a relatively high dpi I could feel the drag.

do u find these swtiches still solid at stock? I usually dont prefer to lube because of how much time it takes lol
@dill-keebs Жыл бұрын
I think they are great stock, the only consideration is that because they come dry, without any factory lube they might not be as smooth as you might be used to. That being said, lubing the switch is that extra 10% difference, and is not required at all for these.
