Do you want this application to be served from your raspberry to the computer directly? Or do you want it to open a program already on your computer? In case of the latter, a raspberry pi pico will do you just fine. Make a script that presses the super key and enters the name of the application. GUI r DELAY 300 STRING application name DELAY 200 ENTER DELAY 5000

That depends on the size of the application. I think the pico can store like 16mb total or something. The pico does not support external storage however and in that case I am not sure how you would go about it.
