Hey Brent.. Your 458 exhaust note brought me to your channel. Just subscribed yesterday. You weren't speeding in the 720s were you? Your vids are wonderful and so inspirational to watch. Thanks for the great content. The 720s is an amazing value for the $. Definitely a nice addition to your garage as a daily driver. Looking forward to the future unveiling of 458. Cheers mate from Hong Kong!

Im considering buy a used mclaren but I wonder why it was returned after 2k miles? Do dealerships tell you everything about the car when they sell a used one to you? Do they fix everything if there was something wrong?

Not sure you know what you're talking about concerning the dashboard. The Sport mode displays tire pressure. Track mode displays tire pressure and temperature if you disable the retractable display which is set in options. In Sport mode, you can display tire temperature on the left of the display if you scroll to that using the bottom left arm on the steering wheel. And good luck finding any model under 250K....

After driving the Scud how does this compare? Did it feel boring or too buttoned up?
@BrentRuiz4 жыл бұрын
Only real thing lacking was the sound. The driving, suspension etc was all very good and technically much better than the scud. Scud still feels more visceral though!

@@BrentRuiz - I was thinking about getting the 675LT - but seems like the depreciation on the 720s is coming pretty fast !! so i might just go with the 720S -- so where is the best state to buy the 720S - I heard Florida is a good state to buy an exotic car. or let me know your source also -- by the end of this year - or early next year !! I will be ready. hopefully by then will be cheaper -- Mahalos bro!!! Bubba!!

Oh yes, and you forgot to mention to thank GM for making the c8 Corvette because I believe this is one of the main drivers to the Maclaren's extreme depresiation and future c8 models. Dude get the ZORA brand new like I will. It will be a better much Better Car believe me!

I think it's mostly mclaren shooting themselves in the foot but the C8 is a good option now for people looking to save a bunch of money

Wow - I know you're from the US so a bit of bias is understandable - BUT - to claim the corvette C8 and even future models are anything to do with Mclaren prices/depreciation is hilariously ridiculous!! You're literally trying to say a NASCAR is better than a Formula 1 car

Okay ive a question what if you want the 720s but you would want to get rid of it in like 3 to 4 years in order to get the tesla roadster???would you recommend a lease or still finance the vechicle??. Any advice would be appreciated .
@BrentRuiz4 жыл бұрын
Lease would be enticing but they never give you enough miles per year to actually drive it. I would wait until they have depreciated a little more and finance it. In 3-4 years the 720s will have depreciated to the bottom basically, so you will lose some money but there is no avoiding that
@ajigijigi4 жыл бұрын
@@BrentRuiz thanks but i wanted to get the tesla roadster when it comes out so if i were to wait a couple of years dont you think it would be too late to get the 720s. ??

@@ajigijigi why would you get the Tesla Roadster? Stock Turbo 720S run 8s in the quarter, thats faster than the non existent Tesla, and they do it right now. And the have an great exhaust note, Teslas don't....yuck. And its only a Tesla. Like, it doesn't get more mainstream than that.

@@hasangenc2922 the 720s runs 9.7 stock actually and depending on tires and road plus the car is known for its unreliability.

@@ajigijigi stock, yes. Stock Turbo Stage 2+ 720S run 8s, they have done over a 1000runs with the same car, consistent 8s. Teslas have tons of issues as well....and no one can fix them except Tesla. 720S > any Tesla

720s has an hydraulic steering, not electric.
@rezonator20613 жыл бұрын
Yeah its a combination of hydraulic and electric (the best way for the last 40 yrs) - unlike most modern rivals that have switched to the entirely electric steering - such as on the 911's and Ferrari's (Partly forced by EU crash regulations)

IF atou had to choose one 458 or 720s? I am in the middle of that decision .. HELP

458 if you prioritize exhaust sound and emotion of driving, potentially the looks as well. 720 if you care more about speed. Both are very fun on track

How about some facts- all small production hand built makes have minor issues especially with new models- so Mclaren who've only been at it just over 10 yrs and had lots of models and huge technological advances in that time should be given some slack - most videos are moaning about trim or minor electronic glitches not masses of major problems - for every youtube vid with a customer talking about a problem - there's another saying theyve had no problems with their Mclarens - Just like FERRARI, MASERATI, ALFA ETC ETC...
