They should make a new one, it's a very fun and inmersive game, it's actually better than The Sims in general, because you are creating and administrating a whole city.

Music in sim city is midi, meaning its like a music sheet as opposed to recorded audio. Different computers have different sounding instruments for midi files so that would explain the differemce
