Appreciate Video clip! Forgive me for chiming in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you thought about - Reyameron Linkify Blitzkrieg (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a good one of a kind product for learning how to avoid dialysis and boost your kidney health minus the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my cousin after many years got amazing success with it.

Why do they make it so big, and why not with ports. I don't really understand why they're even necessary. Is it something to do with the force of the blood or somethin?

why no ports? i guess to prevent infections. Why so big? cause the amount of blood needed to cycle for dialysis.... hemodialysis takes about 3 to 4 hours not including the time it takes to hook the person up to the machine, with a smaller tube it would take 3 times longer to get all the blood filtered coming from a smaller narrower tube. They also make it big enough to make sure they can get the needles in and not have to worry about not getting it in or accidentally going all the way through the tube from working with limited space... the needles are huge as well since they need to carry more volume of blood in and out as it filters. Back to why there aren't any ports, I think the kind that ppl can get on the chest has ports but its really not recommended because of infection can happen so easily since the port is more like a door that can be breached easily by bacteria. Just getting it wet can cause infection and people have died from that.

The chest ports are incredibly awkward, as they hang over a breast and make wearing a bra really uncomfortable. You also don't want a baby or friendly puppy grabbing the ports and ripping them loose. They are sewn in place slightly above the breast, dangling like two syringes, and are always getting slightly torn, no matter how careful you are when getting dressed. Taking a shower and washing your hair are also difficult. A friend of mine has been offered the fistula, and can't wait.

A Fav é uma " amarração " de uma veia a uma artéria, essa é a PTFE , uma alternativa para pessoas que por terem veias muito finas não conseguem confeccionar uma FAV. A opção mais radical se chama Permcath , que é uma cateter definitivo na região torácica.
