Bobby is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT about the rejection thing. I have been absolutely berated and mocked by an entire social group because a woman felt rejected by me. I even liked her! I just move slow and she felt like i was turning her down for sex when i just needed more time. I know lots of guys are nasty when rejected, but I've also never been in a situation where a woman was rejected and it didn't turn into a problem. I hate so much that as a man it's "my job" to put myself out there and get rejected or ghosted all the time, and there's no appreciation for how much work and anxiety that is.

the reason Tigerbelly works is in part for the same reason Bobby is successful, namely, "Bobby's Mania". If it were just that it would be any of the other Podcasts which are largely boring and then whacky Bobby comes in and does shtick. In Tigerbelly you get something unique in that there's a person who care's about Bobby, whose interested in his stories, who lets him play and be in charge but who also calls him out when he's being full of shit and who dives in to topics which are interesting beyond the punch line. why is Tigerbelly the best? because it combines a fearless comedian with a fierce independent woman who love each other and through their lens they discuss the world. Other podcasts are two comedians (too similar). or a couple but they are both basically the same. or its just influencers and they never really say anything or news casters (getting told what to say). Chemistry, we're always talking about chemistry, this mystical element in a show or relationship that everyone wants and no one knows how to just make . Well Tigerbelly has Chemistry and you can't fake it but more importantly you should never mess with it.
