I've been quietly watching your videos, and I must say, I agree with how coherent you want to be. I've been a vegan I just do it for the animals, and the animal industry that is disgusting and cruel, about your statement, I just wanted to say,there's many people that sadly can't afford being consistent or coherent with these beliefs, there's a socio economic part what you're dismissing. Some people just can't afford living in a farm or having their own land, which of you want to live as you do, you'll need. Thank you for showing us your path.

As far as I know, Gordon was never vegan. He just started dabbling in making vegan dishes. Probably thought there was a good enough market to head down that road. As far as the lambs it's sad that anyone could look them in the eye and still want to kill and eat them, but I feel he's helping the vegan movement by doing so. Most people don't want to think about the victim they are eating and this gave them that moment to see it.

I have had a completely different experience than you. I haven’t seen one vegan that I watch on KZbin turn ex vegan. And none of the friends I know have changed their minds. You are definitely living a healthy vegan lifestyle. You ran throughout the video and no hesitation. But I think with so many business and your busy lifestyle you are finally leaving your blogging. I will miss you. Your best videos were when you camped by yourself in far away places.

Mate, I love you a lot, but veganism is stronger now than ever. Products are going mainstream. The only complaint I have is with the vegan cheese. I don’t know what in the world is the deal with it! Every time a vegan cheese comes out that is as good or better tasting than real cheese, gets removed from the market. Is there some cheese mafia of some sort? I wish vegans would make a video about this. All of the good vegans I know on KZbin are still vegan. Like David Rams, Ryan from Happy Healthy Vegan, Henge Herbivore, Chris From the Vegan Zombie, Jon Ted, Simnet Nutrition, and many more that I watch. The ones that don’t last are mostly speciesists. Usually talking badly about other vegans. Stating they are toxic. They don’t sound like they care about the lives of other beings, since they talk about themselves a lot, and their looks, then they start deliberately eating badly. Then you see them quitting veganism. One thing I hate is that vegans aren’t not communicating much. I remember when you used to blog with other vegans like Ryan. He tells me it has been a long time since he has spoken with you. You should give him a call sometime. I would love to see you blog with him. The real fact about people blogging themselves is that many, are not who they claim to be. Some of them may not even be vegan in real life.

I agree with your statement about Gordon being more honest, but will ranting and judging people openly encourage them to change? You inspired my early vegan journey but are you a teacher or a basher?

Good to see you brother. As far as what I think, while I do find the public outrage to be very hypocritical, in this case I actually think a more heightened level of disgust is warranted. Point being, I believe the majority of even omnivores would agree that 'making fun' of the act of killing does, in fact, make it worse - even if that 'worsening' is in the sense of showing a more deeply sociopathic mindset on Gordon's part. For example, if someone was starving to death and HAD to kill to survive, I would see it as more deplorable to slowly torture and laugh at the pain and demise of the other being, as opposed to choosing to quickly kill someone else and actually show some form of remorse. Of course, in this case, to the animal the outcome is the same... BUT, in terms of what it says about Gordon's mental state, I do think it is worse; he's kind of showing an exaggerated version of what most people do without even knowing it... he in no way shows any ability to empathize, whereas most people if they saw an adorable innocent animal would at least show some outward expression of discomfort... much like when you show a carnist a slaughterhouse video. For Gordon to just giggle and joke about it, I do see it as worse, if only insofar as it shines a light on his enjoyment of cruelty.

Im very anti vegan! But I got to say brother I love your decoration. I almost went vegan awhile back but I decided that meat is okay if it's sourced the right way.
