Beaches and parks are overcrowded, tourists not wearing masks, increased littering, lifeguards and firefighters are saving 200 people daily, disturbing endangered animals, rental car shortages. The most heart breaking thing for me is the water shortage. Hotels and resorts are allowed to keep pools filled with water but natives are being fined $1000 for washing their cars and have to ration drinking water. The government has been begging airlines to stop being tourists to the island but don't have the authority to make them stop.
