I think you should be taking your own advice, keep trying and you'll get better. And remember: don't say that your art sucks. Instead, find parts of your art that you don't like. For example, let's say you don't like how you draw eyes. Look up references and artists that draw in a similar art style to you, or that draw in a style that you like. Let's say you draw in a cartoon anime style. Search up anime artists! Learn how they draw eyes (the thing that you're having trouble with) and study it. You can apply their technique to your art and then you won't have as much trouble drawing eyes anymore! (Or whatever the thing that is making your piece look "wrong" is) Hope this helped

Well I didn't think of it as practicing before this question, but I do have a board on Pinterest that's for references I use all the time. It's helped me with being more creative with my poses and concepts!

Thanks for asking! I use a mix of markers illo Hues and Ohuhus. for liners I use either a 0.05 or 0.1 micron pen.
