Thank you for doing these vlogmas videos! Not to mention inviting us into your home. What a treat to be welcomed in by Marcel 😊 I discovered your videos during 1st lockdown and they were (and continue to be) a real comfort. We started watching Wheel of Time because we're huge Rosamund Pike fans and are really enjoying it as the writing and characters are very well done. I've never read the books, so have no idea what's going to happen. Enjoy your month off! (And please don't ever feel any pressure with these videos -- I know I'd be happy just hanging out quietly with you while you knit or draw or spin.)

Dear Nicole, I feel like I’ve been given my very own advent calendar, knowing I get to watch an episode of yours every day up until Christmas! It’s fun to see your errands and the knits you so beautifully wear on them and more of your neighborhood. Thank you so much for inviting us into your cozy home! It was really interesting to hear about your childhood advent calendar tradition: how you filled the pockets each day instead of emptying them! My goodness, what wonderful Training in self control 😅! And sweet Marcel truly does look the sweetest decked out in his padded coat. Cannot wait for your next episode! We had a dusting of snow the night of the first advent here in Berlin, but nothing is sticking here yet either…. Fingers crossed for a snowy wonderland soon!

My grandmother was from a little town in NS called West Arichat and referred to herself as Acadian, too. My dream still (at 72) is to visit Nova Scotia where she grew up.
