Gerki is playing against two goblins and the freaking Lich King and he's still the biggest monster on the table.

I mean, haven't seen much of the new characters, but previous things that held true also in just the cards. Other characters mind their own business, or do magic with little to no harm to others, but Gerki (The actual character, not Michael's Gerki) just stabs people, spikes drinks, and steals money from everyone.

I have all the expansions, and I have to say that even though the characters get more complex and get ridiculous power with the complexity, Gerki remains one of the strongest characters in the game. He's simply ridiculous. He has a million ways to avoid drinking. He cheats like crazy in gambling. He steals money regardless. He also can deal some damage, but that's honestly secondary to his crazy defenses. He just never drinks and never runs out of gold. The on kink in his armor is that he doesn't have any way to heal fortitude loss and has few ways to prevent it. When I play with my friends and/or family and I pick Gerki, everyone just throws all their fortitude loss cards at me. I'll typically get knocked out of the game with only like 5 alcohol content because I will have lost 15 fortitude. It's all you can do to beat him. He's a damn monster! At least two of the other characters in this game have "boss" variants which are designed for a group of players to play against. The goal is to knock that one boss out before he knocks all of you out. I honestly wish they buy into the meme of how strong Gerki is and make a boss variant for him.

Towards the end there is a rules violation that might effect the game in part 2. Ryan plays Animate Drink, turning Trevor's drink into a -3 fortitude card. Trevor plays a card that allows him to block a sometimes card effecting his fortitude. The issue is that Ryan's card doesn't effect Trevor's fortitude, it effects the drink's contents, meaning Trevor's card cant negate it, and he should have lost 3 fortitude.
