But there are 6 girls in the house and playing in the yard plus two dogs. Are you and others take responsibility for your advice if something happens to the girls? Opossums are wild animals, not farm animals. Okay, they are good for nature, but that doesn't mean you can have them in your yard with your kids. Sometimes you animal lovers instead of being positive, you have negative effects.

This to me encapsulates the magic of Christmas, seeing the children opening their presents. I only had two kids so that pleasure was over all too quickly, at least with your large brood the experience lasted a little longer. The look of joy on the children's faces was just something else!.♥️

As a person whose love language is gift giving, I’m obsessed w how excited the girls are to give their gifts to their sister. They’re so thoughtful and I love how they always explain the thought behind choosing that gift (I do the same thing lol). Just shows how important giving is rather than getting during the holidays.

When the girls were coming down the stairs I thought Blayke was Danielle leading them down at first. She is so grown up now. I was looking forward to the secret sister. I really love getting to see them shop and then open the gifts. The shoe prank was funny & the rest of it was so sweet. I would love a link to that car. It looks awesome. I was surprised how fast it went in the grass. I really enjoyed all of your Christmas videos this year. So fun!!

The opossums are a very useful scavenger. They are all over rural Florida where I live. They will eventually make their way out of your boundaries. The girls are darling!! Hope your 2024 is great!

Maybe different kind of possums but I've grown up being taught to hate possums in New Zealand as they kill the native birds and their habitats. Here they are a massive problem and endanger species. I could also be thinking of something completely different though

Opossums also don't carry rabies like raccoons. We had a whole family of them in our backyard in CA. They ate the over ripe oranges that fell from our tree! That was fun watching the girls open their "secret sister" gifts. Happy New Year to the Busby family!❤🎊🎉

Glad your family had a nice Christmas.I love how every time sisters say thank you and hug there was an audible “awww” from everyone…I found myself “awwing” along with you 😆I’m guessing possums aren’t a good thing to have visit.We don’t have possums here in NS…not that I’ve ever seen anyway but we did have 7 deer visit us Christmas Day but they visit us regularly….sometimes 12 of them come.I love Blake’s makeup table and mini fridge. I used to have one when I was a teenager and loved mine…though mine didn’t have all the lights on it.I’m sure she’ll enjoy it for years to come.Wishing your family the happiest,healthiest,most blessed new year.

In the past years when we went camping in our hometown of North western Alabama … (kind of glamping lol ) there was a rock overhang area by our spot we camped at and there was a mother Opossum that had a “den” and would walk out with probably 7 babies clinging to her body . I had five kids myself so I was like “ you go Mama”! I would give her food . They didn’t bother us at all and I was amazed at her ❤️.

Awe I luv opossums. We regularly rescue babies from moms hit. They r actually wonderful to have near u as they will kill poisonous sbakes and other rodents. They also do not carry parvo contrary to popular belief. It is rare for a opossum to have rabies due to their low body Temps. Srry for the rant but they r far from gross and absolutely adorable. I love to visit our local wildlife rehabber n see all the babies when I'm dropping off donations or rescues. Oh n they eat ticks too!!! Very beneficial animals.
