You can really see why people used to traditionally tell ghost stories at Christmas - and thus A Christmas Carol, Being a Ghost Story of Christmas! I'm a pagan, and we've been slowly Yule-izing our Christmas celebrations. I'll have to see if we can incorporate some of the ideas here into our traditions!

I've always told people I celebrate christmas out of tradition as an atheist sometimes I get crap for celebrating it but now you've given me a more in depth reason to explain to people why I celebrate christmas, because i've always known that the celebration itself has deeper n longer roots than christianity and that you don't have to be of any faith or religion to observe this holiday. As a Atheist myself as well , I can fully understand the strugle in explaining to the christians why I celebrate Christmas ! I always knew that Christmas was not a Christian celebration but one which was stollen for gaining power over the mass . The winter solstice celebration wasn’t as specific as today’s calculations, and was held for many days if not weeks (or until the alcohol was exhausted). Krampus is depicted in horror movies. One lesser known movie of the 'folklore' legend (and preferred) is Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale 2010 ‧ Horror/Fantasy ‧ 1h 25m. If Elizabeth (John The Baptist Mother) was 6 months pregnant when Mary (Jesus mother) came to Elizabeth to announce Jesus was in the womb, John leaped in his mother's belly. If John the Baptist was born on Passover, Then Jesus had too have been born in September-October. Yum Kapor? Day of Atonement or Feast of the Trumpets? He surely fits in both Holy Days. Maybe this is why Jesus always spoke of a Harvest.

There's a story in the Qu'ran about the birth of Jesus. In this story, when Mary is in labour, she is instructed to shake a date palm tree, so that the dates fall off. Dates ripen September/October. By December they'd be long gone.

Saturnalia was suppressed by the Catholic Church, NOT the Jewish Christian Church. CC used Saint Peter's death n near he was buried to build its Church. CC was unable to erase the Roman pagan December pagan celebrations thus combining some of those pagan rituals into the CC manner of worship. CC has been deceiving its parishioners for centuries, preying on the weak. Fortunately, many have left the CC, like myself & my family. This documentary shows only the half truth. Christmass is celebrated because of the many heresies in the fourth century AC. Athanasius and other Church fathers stressed that Christ was born Divine and equal to the Father and not became God at the end or after resurrection. Christmass was first celebrated somewhere in februari and wasn't the most important feast day. That is Eastern, Theophany and Pentecost. These are much older feasts. Later Christmass was moved to december to replace the Pagan feasts.

Around the 15:53 mark, things go really sideways in the picture as one woman (I think it's a woman, who can tell? AI much?) backs up and loses her arms and the person right in front of her turns her head and as the camera moves closer to her, the head falls forward and off the body. Not a fan of AI videos but this one is the cream de la cream. You got me, I want to see what other absurd things happen because AI has no idea how people move still. They are great imitators but still miss the mark so horribly bad that it is laughable. I can't believe that the person who asked AI to make this video for them didn't at least watch it to try to edit it. Very lazy.
