This joke isn’t gonna get cancelled by some “pc mob” 🙄. Some may or may not like it, whatever. But the butt of the joke is Draco not Prof Q. Draco is being horrible in a funny way. Expressing a view that many held at that time legitimately. But Draco’s like a secondary villain so his making that comment makes him (and therefore those who hold similar pigheaded beliefs) the butt of the joke. Taking the ridicule from Quirrel. Without the irony, then it would be subject to criticism for its portrayal. Anyway, the point is that the joke steeped in irony, and those whom miss that aren’t going to understand why the joke is and can be laughed at.
