Meredith did what a good actor does, the show must go on, and she preformed in Bonnie's place. - The actor playing Luna is indeed the actor who played Luna in the films, Evanna Lynch. - this is not a full performance, it is a staged reading, which is why they are holding scripts. It is NOT a full showing of AVPSY. They actually put a disclaimer at the start stating it was a staged reading.

Stop freaking complaining about the scripts! For one they had about three hours of rehearsal time, Darren even less, and they still went out there and rocked. Two, they didn't have to do it all! I think that Meredith did a better job as Hermione than bonnie, but just because they are all a bit older therefore more experienced. And she had the added new actor playing another persons charator issue which is never easy to live up to but she managed it. However bonnie was a great Hermione and when I think of Hermione, I think of bonnie as opposed to Meredith or even Emma Watson (from the proper movies)

To all the people complaining, be thankful we even got this. Someone who was involved with this project and worked at leakycon said that originally they were just going to be sitting in chairs reading scripts. Then it became using a prop or two, and then they decided to dress up in costumes, before it became a full show. They had two days of rehearsal and this isn't a short production. Plus they got a Evanna Lynch

But few weeks later I went to watch it anyway and honestly you get to still feel the magic, especially in the end where the emotional stuff kicks in.
