In defense of of Lauren Manion because everyone is commenting about how their favorite song was low on the list, there's A Lot of songs in the avpm trilogy. The songwriting for all these musicals was amazing and putting one above the other is hard because there's a lot of songs to go through and they're all quite good. The person who made this video works hard and consistently puts out a lot of good content . If the ranking really bothers you that much then look away and think of it as a compilation of a bunch of good song clips.

tbh i saw senior year live and it was way better so every time i watch the recorded version im a little disappointed because it didnt really capture it (also some jokes were edited out, im guessing for time) and the reprises for get back to hogwarts were amazing but seeing darren yell "f*** the tie" was THE highlight of the show

I seem to absolutely love all of the ones you put last: senior year is always stuck in my head, not alone reprise is beatiful, though I’ll admit not as good as the first one, and the dragon song is just a masterpiece; I’m also disappointed that a lot of the A Very Potter Musical songs are lower, though I’m assuming some of the more well-known songs like Get Back to Hogwarts and Not Alone will be higher up, I haven’t finished the video yet. Another possibly unpopular opinion I have: I think that a lot of the A Very Potter Senior Year songs are underrated; Gilderoy is absolutely hilarious, and for some reason This Is The End always makes me happy; and as I already said, Senior Year is such a bop and it’s always stuck in my head. Though A Very Potter Sequel is, with no question, the best of the trilogy in the terms of music, especially musical comedy, I think that a lot of the songs in A Very Potter Senior Year are very emotional; they convey the negative emotions they are meant to to me in a way no other musical in the trilogy does, not even A Very Potter Sequel; if not in the music, the script itself is definitely emotional.

Ive been put through a roller coaster of emotions. Not because of the ranking- I like seeing other peoples opinion. I'm just crying because I love Ginny and all these songs are a bop and some of them touch my sould and punch it just before giving it a cookie with all the fun ones and then I get sad again because Ginny from avpm is my dream role but my school would never do avpm and it hurts because I don't know if I will ever get that chance. Days of Summer and Guys Like Potter in the botton did get me, because those songs make me super emocional (even tho I'm not a Snape superfan, it's almost impossible not like the avpm e avps Snape). But I'm happy with the first place, No Way is one of the best songs in all Starkid's musicals (I said what I said). (I'm from Brazil, english is not my mother language, so I apologize if there's anything wrong with the writing).

I was should've been number one. I don't think I've related to any musical theatre song like it. The want to be who you use to be while everyone around you moves on and seemingly leaves you behind without a second thought. The truth of accomplishing a huge goal actually becoming a downfall cuz were the fuck do you go from there? Peaking at an early age in life only for people to swat away that accomplishment that they all once thought was so grand. Feeling like even your name doesn't really fit you anymore. I know they didn't get much rehearsal time before the production and I love Darren Criss but I always thought he messed up the last spoken line before the song starts. The line is " I was Harry Potter" and he emphasises the "was" which in most cases would work well enough, but personally I think the line should read "I was HARRY POTTER" emphasing that Harry thinks he's gone downhill, everyone's moved on from his "chosen one, boy who lived legacy" and now instead of being "HARRY POTTER" he's just "Harry Potter". Then it adds on with the fact that they show greater parallels between him and Tom by showing he felt the exact same way and makes us question how badly he was actually thought of and treated not to mention how easy it could be for Harry to become like that. The chorus is also just beautifully written with completely on the nose lyrics like "I've fallen from up high" which is just exactly what happened, both characters were on a pedestal that they were eventually pushed off of, with the worst part being they never asked to be put up there in the first place. And then you have lines like "I'm just going nowhere faster" literally every second is just quickening up this realisation of their unfortunate reality, which is they aren't really moving at all. Almost like a statue from the past, still recognised for what they did to some extent, but never being allowed to move past that on to new victories. When Harry then add's "when did life become disaster?" In the second chorus he's asking not only himself when did it all go wrong? When did I become less than who I was, or when did who j was become less to the world around me? He's also asking "how did I not see it sooner?" When he talks about how he use to be adored, he's literally repeating someone else's words. He was never really a victim of his own ego, but one that was grown by the world around him, until it decided he completed his task so they popped his bubble and said it was done for the day, while Harry is left to only remember when he *was* happy… when he *was*… "HARRY POTTER".
