I think that humid 45 degrees feels a little different than a dry 45. Maybe I'm wrong, but the winter mornings in San Diego had us shivering a few times we've visited!

@CozyLivingMachine it can be in the 40's in the morning. But because of the off-shore breeze, coming from the desert regions, the humidity is about 1-2%. Downside is that this makes for excellent fire conditions.

those shops with all those wood based products were really cool to see. Natural wood is just so pretty to look at and gives a feeling of calmness. Lenny looking good with his Christmas lights.

I think you'd love it! Maybe a nice trip out to the Hoh Rainforest, Deception Pass, a nice ferry ride, see the gum wall (because Seattle kind of sucks but it's weird enough to make the list), drive on Ocean Shores beach... I've planned a whole trip for you!!

I wonder what it is in our psyche that particular locations just grab us as "the spot" and somehow we just have to return and miraculously we feel better there than anywhere else. You sure found a great one in La Conner. Thanks again for another walking tour of La Conner's shops and gallery's district. That shop with the crafted in wood pieces is a destination all on its own. Love seeing Sam and Colt enjoying themselves and frolicking about. It's a Christmas 2024 miracle: we may see seasonal temperatures in Phoenix today. But going back into higher than normal soon after. Lenny's gray is similar to one of my favorites on 1960's-1970's Porsche's which sported 'Slate Grey' . Steve McQueen favored it for his personal Porsche's. Lenny is handsome and right now a standout with a strong touch of festiveness with the light treatment he inherited from Bailey. I still think Bailey in his Christmas dress was something to behold by other weary highway travelers late at night when they pulled into rest area and there sits Bailey. Probably larger effect now with Lenny due to all the side windows. Have a safe week and try to stay dry.

That's a subject I've been investigating for many years now. I think it's about a location and amenities (or the lack thereof) that speak to what we really want in life. La Conner, for example, is peaceful, calm, has a bit of woodworking, no nonsense, there's wildlife nearby but we're not simply secluded and too far away from amenities. Mountains, waterways, art, and the big city within a short drive if we want it. What more can one ask for?! I imagine that others have specific scenery and desires deep within that give us whatever we're looking for, wherever that may be also! I'm glad that Phoenix is calming down for you!! I'm a little jealous of that weather, frankly! Porsche Slate Grey... I should have claimed it was that color to give him more prestige! 🤣 I know, that big ol motorhome was sure festive as well, and with the white walls it let the light bounce all around! I do think the effect is much more pronounced now!

❤WOW i had no idea la Conor is so Beautiful 😮 I love seaside Oregon. I wanted to tell you that I truly love your channel, I have tried to start one last year but I got so much hate. Love your bus have you watched Sam & Kelly , I just don't understand how ppl can be so hateful especially on something that they haven't even tried,. I wish I could just live like you are. ❤❤

It's beautiful out there! And Seaside is a fun stop along the 101 as well! Thank you!! It's amazing how much negativity people will put out there just because they're unhappy with themselves. I've never seen their channel! Are people pretty nasty in their comments as well? It's a shame. And you definitely can if it's something you really want! There are just a few logistical things and more emotional challenges to overcome as well for most of us!
