5:10 I thought I saw a 90% silver, or just a very shiny copper layer. If it was silver, you might want to go back through the halves. I was watching the video, and when you said there was a 40%, all I was seeing was that coin. Anyways, just wondering. I am a subscriber and I love your vids!!

Back when I was hunting halves, my first ever silver was a silver proof. It was so white next to the other coins I had to show my friend before I even pulled it out of the roll.

I’ve had some of my best ever luck in the Coinstar while you were absent. On July 30 I found my first ever half dollars in the coin star. There were two of them and one was 1968D but the other one was a 1942S Walker!!!!! Also a few bucks in new change but no other old finds. First time I ever had a mint marked walker. Even today I got a handful of change from the Coinstar and got a 1963P dime and 2 old wheat pennies: 1925P and 1944D.

What a fantastic hunt! I don't know how you guys do it. I've quit hunting halves. I just opened my 28th box of the year. Found two proofs and a gold plated half, but so far this year I've only found 1 90 and 2 40's. At least I get to watch you guys find silver.

Had my best box ever. I pulled 2 walkers and a 64 from the first roll got a total of 21- 40 percenters, 11 walkers, 8 Ben Franklins, 6-64's, 1 proof and there were 2 prizes in the box a 1918-S walker and an 1878 seated liberty ender

I regularly find rolls over 226 in NF String and Sons boxes with no silver. Sometimes over 226.5.

I went to my local bank and grabbed $100 worth of halves. The first roll I opened was all NIFC. In total, there were 154 NIFC halves, with 73 of them 2009, 31 2007, and 21 2015. I only had 46 that were not NIFC and the oldest was 1990.

Curious about the low count of NIFC's. Maybe they aren't actually NIFC's?, but I've been finding a good bit of 2021-newer halves coming out of the Loomis boxes. Assuming they are NIFC's, I've been setting those aside. That Ag proof, though, I've yet to find one of those. Like you like to tell us though, the secret to finding anything is just to keep at it. >>;=) I will say customer-wrapped coinage has the best chance of goodies, but I have a heck of a time finding branches of my bank where ppl bring anything in.
