I ran your Lanturn, Noctowl, Altaria lineup a few weeks back and climbed from 2153 to Veteran for the first time! Started to see a ton of ABB double steel lineups and proceeded to plummet right back to 2100s ELO 😂 Switched to this team 3 days ago and haven’t looked back. Thank you for featuring this lineup and helping me improve! I’ve learned a lot from you this past year on getting better in GBL. Cheers!

I used to run this team because I hated basti leads. The they started using the shadow vic lead version 😐

Yeah! However, if you can draw out the Basti with the Owl, Altaria can easily sweep the Medi and Vic 💪

I have a 0/9/9 rank 42 Golbat which is also his Pokedex number 😂 Was pretty good in one of the limited cups but Open GL I stopped using it quickly. Noctowl is the best Flying Shadow Baller, but you said that you like a challenge. 😅

What are your thoughts on running swamp vs lanturn in the lead (like you did in a previous vid)?

Both have their merits! Lanturn is much bulkier, and more dominant against flying and Azu leads, while Swampert hits harder, and is much more dominant on the Steel leads 👍

It'll depend on your play style and ELO, Jonathan. Swampert needs shields. Lantern.... Lantern needs alignment more than shields. After running this team every set today, I think it works well giving up switch but keeping shield advantage. My Lantern, Noct core team I would fight hard for switch.

Hey bro whats good against a obstagoon? I always get absolutely fucked by him. Golbat umbreon and scrafty is who i am currently using. I have not ran into obstagoon yet but also what typing counters him?

Fighting is the best typing to handle goon, as it is double weak to fighting, followed by fairy 👍
